Great video. Some really great points. I have to admit that the trailer footage had me wondering about its authenticity 🤔 but I'm now just excited to see what other footage they drop, and hopefully, another video covering that 👍🏼keep up the good work 👏

You seem to be as smart as you are beautiful, which is quite impressive. I'm not particularly interested in the game, but it's technically extremely impressive what graphics are now possible and where it's all heading. I would love to see more of these little analyses from you! Don't be stingy with your smarts in front of your eager fans. :>

I really appreciate the feedback, I'll try and get some more of this type of content in-between the tomb raiding shenanigans where possible! 😁

@@Amelior_ Do what you enjoy. But I would be happy in any case. I wanted to let you know that you are very good at it. And as far as graphics are concerned, they have come a long way. We have reached a point where it is slowly becoming less about the number of polygons and more about simulating light. Every surface reflects light and that has a big impact on how real something looks. Just like perspective. I also find it interesting how sound is simulated. Surprisingly, it develops more slowly. Reverb also determines how realistic something appears. Sound is underestimated anyway.

@goldenboy9192 Defo, especially the past 5 years or so! I feel like ray tracing has made it more obvious who the better developers are for graphic capabilities, it either makes the games look loads more realistic, or too bright 🤣 I completely agree, that sound is an element that is totally taken for granted! It can create so much atmosphere and totally change the feel of the game! It's a shame it didn't give much of a demo of the audio in the trailer of Unrecord.

@@Amelior_ Yeah, 3D-Sound is as big as Ray Tracing. I think polygons are not that far away from perfection. In a demo at least.. Full games are another story. But we will get there! Simulation is the most important at this point. Simulation of light, sound and physics. It's amazing how far games have come and that I get to witness it myself!
