At my level, 1600-1800 people don't use the queen much until endgame. Very rarely see someone bring it out early. Most of the time they leave it where it is for ages... not connecting their rooks.

Its honestly funny how the strongest piece has to play a more passive role than the rest.

My queen got taken by a Bishop snipe one to many times
@erza9487Ай бұрын
In fact i'm always scared of using my queen that i let her in the back trying to attack with my other pieces, this makes my attack so weak and end up losing against someone who doesn't fear bringing his queen to my territory 💀
@MayhemChessАй бұрын
Honestly a good rule of thumb is that if the opponent is active with his queen, you have to also be active to some degree. Not to be as reckless as your opponent but you both have equal points of material so use them. (whether support or attack)

Woah , I like it I actually not really using the queen good enough lol I'm currently 1939 rapid and I always attack with my Queen and along side my Other pieces 😅😅. But I hope you could provide more examples on attacking "ALONG SIDE" with the queen I didn't yet really understand it but to be fair I did know I lil bit but not quite sure in other angles lol.

Stockfish might say it’s “mate in 1” but no chess player will actually let their opponent mate them.

If you have problems with using your queen, just always play the botez gambit
