Hello, I have a problem: the mask turned out to be tight for my temples. What should I do? I think it can be heated with a hair dryer and stretched a little, but I don't know how abs+ plastic will react
@Studio_52 Жыл бұрын
Heating it is a good option but you need to be careful as you don’t want to warp the piece, another option in sanding the inside (this may take a very long time however), the final option would be to print a new piece and adjust the size before printing either in your slicer or another 3D model program.

What grit sand do you use after priming and do you wet or dry sand it? i didn't use a filler just a primer

Usually after priming i use 400 and move to 800, and usually start with wet sanding and switch to dry at higher grits

@Studio_522 жыл бұрын
I usually do an initial pass with 120-150, then work my way up 800 smoothing it out, that usually works pretty well. Depending on the finish you might not need to go as high as 800 or if you want it polish smooth you will need to go higher perhaps up to 1500 or more. Sometimes you just gotta feel it out as you go, hope that helps.

does the 3d model come already 3d printed when it arrives?
@Studio_523 жыл бұрын
The 3D model is a digital file, I then take it run it through a slicer program which spits out GCode, I then feed that code into my 3D printer and the machine does the rest, so no.

@@Studio_52 what 3D printer do you use? I love the idea of getting one but have no clue where to start
@Studio_522 жыл бұрын
@@nathanshipley7960 I use a creality CR-10 Pro V2, which a larger size printer, it is a bit more pricey then some but comes with a lot of nice features like auto bed leveling, creality offers several models of CR-10s at varying price points, if you want a slightly smaller size printer I highly recommend the creality ender 3 pro, it cost around 200-250 ish and is a solid starter printer. For a project like this the ender 3 would work just fine.
