Hey Hannah I wanted to thank you for how you have changed my life. For a long time anything related to trans people made me uncomfortable, almost left me with a nauseous feeling. It confused me as to why since I don't consider myself a hateful or judgemental person. I've never had this feeling with anyone of any race, creed, color, or sexual orientation. I was ashamed of how I felt but didn't know what I could do. I found your KZbin channel about a year back or so back and feel in love with your content. It wasn't till after I while I understood you were transgender. But this time I didn't feel anything negative. I realized it didn't matter, all that mattered was the person you were. I still love your content and watch every video. You opened my eyes and just made something click, and thanks to you I no longer find myself having the same feelings I once had. A friend of mine for 20+ years recently told me that she has been taking estrogen for the last 2 years and is now identifying as a woman. I honestly and sincerely want to thank you. I don't think I could have been as supportive to her if it wasn't for you. I also posted this on a really old video because I'm ashamed of my past self.

Thank you for sharing. I think openess about this kind of change of mind is key to helping others do the same. Its a lot harder if everyone pretends they were always on the right side of things or never had implicit biases along the way. This does not excuse anything transphobic, but this transition, if you will, is necessary to make these types of important societal changes in thinking.
