Your child likes Tom... She could be flying by age 5... Great VLOG... So nice seeing your family... =)

I like Tom. He seems like a great flying buddy. Wish there were more Tom's in the world.

Today's flight showed the pitch on the 80" I have is now right on, I'm getting at least 6-8 more MPH in cruise, and even better climb then I did before, plus I lost 6 pounds off the hub, and it's super smooth, a win, win, win, win. It also glides better when throttled back, and there is almost zero lag time when you hit the throttle, and the startups and shut downs are much smoother, no clunk. Get one!

Love the Tom content! also love the old school attitude, just doing what he needs to fly, not spending $400k to fly. keep it coming!

I was really looking forward to this video and see if there was a difference. So far weight and a very well balanced prop. Static thrust seems comparable to others.

Now that my new EDGE EFI system tuning is done, I can finally test both my 78" Prince prop against the E prop at all power settings, it should be interesting! I have the numbers on the Prince, next will be the final pitch setting on the E, which is final determined by a flight test at WOT/level flight, that results in a 5500 RPM, the way it's set right now it was 5860 RPM, way off what the E prop needs for best performance.

Great video and glad to know you deal the E-Props. I am seriously considering this as my next upgrade on my S7.

Not an efi fan… I like the simplicity of carbs… that e prop is interesting
@portnuefflyer4 ай бұрын
EFI is simple, once installed. No more carb ice effects with long descents during the winter, and a more peferct mixture at all altitudes. Best of all is the smoothness. no balancing required!. It's also a bit more uncluttered under the cowl, with only one throttle cable, not towo, plus two choke cables.

The Eprop needs to be set at 5500 rpm at WOT...5750 is way too high. The Eprop is designed for the rotax and to be set at 5500 rpm its not like any other prop.

Rotax egt sensors are terrible, I can't understand this guy with apparently so much experience not knowing really common stuff about the engine. The engine wouldn't run at 200 degrees egt so it's absolutely a wiring issue or the sensor has failed. Same as putting injection on it to fix a cam being chewed up, clearly ignoring the metal in the oil filter and on the magnetic plug? Bizarre, facing the shed with an old rope holidng it to the car is also baffling. I have watched for ages and generally enjoy it but there is some wacky stuff going on with this guy.
