Usyk will be robbed if it’s remotely close. Needs to win decisively. Edit: For all the people claiming that the first fight was close, you’re all blind. Usyk was the clear winner and yet he was almost robbed. Ergo, if it’s remotely close (i.e not a decisive win for Usyk), he’ll get robbed. Edit after the fight: To the imbeciles to who said “aged like milk”, it’s actually the precise opposite: decisive win for Usyk, so he didn’t get robbed.

The thing is - a chin doesn’t stay the same after several concussive beatings. Fury’s chin will be worse this time out again. And yes, Fury did have some success in the mid-rounds, but Usyk adjusted to those changes - he dipped further to avoid the uppercut and actually started to counter Fury’s best punch. Usyk also negated the clinch by circling out to the left and extending the hand and creating distance. Usyk adjusted more in that fight than Fury did. I honestly think Usyk beats him much more severely this time.

Exactly u hit peak once'! Fury hit it twice and those wars with wilder and also ngannou took his chin more than required plus he was chinny earlier. Usyk spent his childhood partaking in all types of martial arts and physical activity, not just boxing. He is actually a decent grappler more akin to the boxers of old who used to wrestle. That is to say that he's better in the clinch than Fury (finds ways to tuck himself in, digs for underhooks, keeps his feet under him, frames off his opponent's arm and shoulder) which is why Fury had no success bullying as he usually does. Watch round 12 of the first fight and you'll see Usyk literally just toss Fury off of him. Fury is not a good enough grappler to be able to implement his mauling style, at least that's my opinion.

Anyone who thinks that fight was close is either a fool or English. Usyk was totally up against it from day 1 when the fight was made. Up against the establishment, the judges, and the ref. They wanted to give Fury the decision because he's a money maker. Why was it that the judges gave Fury round 12, when Usyk threw more punches, landed literally double what Fury landed, had a better defence throughout, was the aggressor throughout, and his ring generalship was better throughout, but they gave Fury the round? I'll tell you why. Because it's a corrupt system. And this time around, I believe Usyk has to knock Fury out because the powers that be would love to see a Fury victory, just so they can make a fortune by having the trilogy.

Fury ain't winning unless the refs and judges and boxing itself rigs it for him. Its POSSIBLE for him to go in there and lay Usyk out...but its not at all PROBABLE. Much more likely is that Usyk adjusts his own movements and tempo and starts teeing of on Fury even more than the last fight and either beats him into submission through sheer damage accumulation, or he sparks him clean out when Fury has gassed himself out for a round. Fury is absolutely going to fight dirty and you'll almost certainly see the ref pretending not to see it and never deducting a point until the outcome seems decided for Fury. Boxing, as an entity, WANTS there to be a trilogy and that ONLY happens if Usyk loses. So expect them to stack the deck as much as possible against Usyk. Essentially the only way for Usyk to win is to knock Fury clean out and hope the count isn't 45 seconds long. Because outside of that, unless it's a demolition job where he dominates every round so thoroughly that any judge scoring it for Fury would be arrested ringside...boxing WILL do everything they can to get Fury the win. Which makes zero sense, Usyk is very likable and everything a champion should be, Fury is honestly a piece of shit and so boxings coddling of him has never made sense to me. So IF everything is reffed and judged accurately, I think Usyk wins it even more convincingly this time around. But I will not be the least bit surprised to watch Usyk get fucked over like Lomachenko did versus Salido, and GGG when he beat the brakes off Canelo twice.

I had the triple g-canelo series either 1-1-1 or 2-1 in GGG’s favor. That first fight was a virtuoso level 118-110 10 round-2 blowout. But I also think that Tyson could absolutely make all the right adjustments and come in really sharp and win. It’s not particularly likely, but it’s a reasonable possibility, it depends on how much Tyson wants it, basically. I expect it to be much more competitive, and I expect Usyk to make many adjustments of his own, but the game of boxing is trying to predict the opponents adjustments and make adjustments to those adjustments before they’ve even been made.

Harsh truth for all involved - Turki gobble gobble, Bug eyes Frank and the majority of those in the business want Luke ‘Fury’ Partridge to win for the money. If Usyk wins a decision, it has to be so wide that anything other than a clear Usyk win would be embarrassing. If there are any potential swing rounds, watch the commentary teams jump all over Fury’s shots and miss Usyks work. I honestly believe Fury knows that as long as it is somewhat competitive, he can take it to the judges. This is why I think he might come in surprisingly light and try to job Usyk

Yeah that’s a good point re: Usyk and can he perform any better. Im not sure he can. But can he repeat it? Probably. But there’s a good chance of marginal decrease in performance. However, I do think there’s room for Tyson to box better. Idk if it’ll be enough still but I maintain Tyson has less to lose especially with undisputed no longer available. IMO there’s something to this whole idea of Usyk achieving his goal of undisputed. He never talks about reigning as undisputed champion just getting it. And with that already slipped, the perceived stakes subconsciously might be lowered when he’s in the fire. His legacy is set in stone, win or lose. And while Tyson’s greatness is firmly established, it’s fallen on shakier ground with Wilders shortcomings on display against world talent. If fury retired today he’d be remembered a great of his era. That remains true with another loss to Usyk. BUT if he can beat Usyk, I personally think his legacy is exponentially improved given Usyk’s status. Thats a huge gap in “why tonight” between them. He can join Lennox as being the only champion heavyweights to beat everyone they ever boxed. And if he didn’t retire this opens the door for another 1-2 mega fights that I think still favor Fury albeit marginally between both Joshua and Daniel though I doubt Frank green lights the latter. This is going to be a hell of a fight with a lot of risks. The money lines are super fun. Usyk by split and a draw are both at +1800 don’t mind if I do and thank you for the free fade

British boxing has become, not just 'unapologetically' but as if a 'good thing' blatantly announcing Fury should cheat. Fury should abandon boxing skills more and grab and wrestle, lay his weight on Usyk, bully him with size by clinching and tossing him around. As if it weren't cheating and unsportsmanlike. Just saying it like we all agreed the old boxing rules are gone because obviously you can use MMA wrestling style moves now so Fury should totally do that instead of boxing. Britain doens't deserve boxing and I'm glad it lost so much of it to Saudi Arabia.

This is what I hate about the score system/judges in both MMA and Boxing.. If you saw this fight in the streets, no rounds, but went down exactly the same way, Tyson got outclassed, chased around, wobbled so many times. Tyson got outclassed by Usyk.. Anyone fight fan can see that.. Bur bring the round scoring, punch counters (which counts any tiny tap that lands), now it was such a close fight, it was only 1 round that separated their skills.. Please.. fuck right off. This is what ruins fighting sports. Politics gets involved and now Tyson actually believes that he nearly won the fight. I'm not an Usyk fan or a Tyson fan. I'm a fight fan. I watched that fight over and over again. Tyson was getting bullied for "nearly" the whole fight. When I hear Tyson say it was close it makes me cringe. Yes he nearly won with the "boxing match" by the scoring system. But he CLEARLY lost as a fight. This is why I'm starting to hate fight sports. It's no longer a fight. It's a business masquerading as who's the best fighter. I'm glad Usyk won because if Tyson won it would be clear boxing isn't about who's the best fighter, but who "plays" boxing well. Sorry for the rant.

Point sparring and scoring ruined competitive karate. I hated it 20 years ago when it started coming in because it quickly created this generation of cocky bouncy whippy strikers who ditched every lesson about discipline and intensity for speedy showoff techniques that got more out of the rules, and resilience and impact (learning how to follow up a giving or taking a hit) lost priority. And then we got Tokyo 2020 where the Kata looked more like a combat sport than the "kumite" and the gold was awarded for successfully headbutting a rib kick. Can you tell I'm still salty

It wasn't a close fight at all, even judging round by round. Usyk outlanded him 10 rounds to 2 both in total and High Impact Punches. It's that the refs and judges were corrupt asf, as they always are. There is no problem with how the scoring work, the problem is with the corruption.
