Posted 13 years ago, and I am hearing this mix for the first time today. OMG. This was powerful back in the day, and this mix pays incredible tribute to one of the best songs of the 80's ever. So glad I found this.

das kannte ich nur im Original. hatte ich als Kind (!) auf KASSETTE! (wie das halt so war: schön vom Radio mitgeschnitten...) wusste damals gar nicht wie die Band heißt.. so war das damals im Kassetten-Zeitalter. Diese Band war viel besser als ihr (heutiger) Ruf. Ralf Dörper ist ein Genius, ein wahrer "Mastermind" aber das verstehen nur die, die sich ein wenig mit der elektronischen Musik beschäftigt haben. Ohne Ihn wären die Krupps nicht das was sie sind, und Propaganda hatten - von den eher furchtbaren TV-Auftritten (war damals halt so...) sehr gute Songs. Die Mischung aus frühem Synthie-Pop und damals erst aufkommendem EBM war geagt. Er wusste was er wollte, was seine Vision von Musik ist... Respekt!

Propaganda faszinierte 1984/1985 mit diesem unglaublichen Album-A Secret Wish.Das holte ich mir nach der Wende zunächst als Vinyl und später auch als CD.Auch das Remix Album dazu war Pflicht! Die Maxis sind sowas wie Weltkulturerbe! Schade das Propaganda wieder sehr schnell verschwand!Das 2.Album floppte bereits!

Actualley, this version is a longer version of an existing remix of "p : Machinery", called "The Beta Wrap Around Remix", initially during 10mn49 and which has been extended (looped) by an additional 3 minutes.

An interesting remix for a very extraordinary song (so rare) with its own style..This title brings itself its own style. I won't say that it's only new wave.. Blue Monday (New Order) made the same, Digital industry (Seven) or depeche mode with enjoy the silence..

Je connaissais la version standard , mais là c'est la taille haut dessus , un vrai chez d'oeuvre j'ai rarement écouté un truc semblable : on dirait de la new vawe mélangé avec de la prgressive limite hard rock par moment . 13 MINUTES d EXTASE

I think many people don't understand the lyrics and symbolisms: the machine, the (nazi) rotating wheel, mass control, MK, etc. Excellent masterpiece of the 80's, up to date with 2024.
