It is useful if we differentiate between pieces of rhetoric and literal implication. Is there a reasonable chance you are a Russian bot? I'd rather ask if you understand how presumptuous your opinion really is. Hardly anyone is purely socialist. Socialism seems to be conflated with democratic socialism, which already exists in the USA. It is taking these principles further, and allowing the people to control (via voting) the government, not lobbying efforts by enormous companies vying for their own pocketbooks, which interests people like the members of Propaghandi.

Is pointing the finger really virtuous though? I can only speak for myself, but in my 40+ years of existence when someone points their finger at me my ears shut off and I get defensive. However when people calmly and slowly present me with reasons to look at my actions or thoughts in a way that comes off as caring I have been motivated to think critically about myself. As I age it seems like what some would call weak is exactly what pushes me to change for the better and aggressive finger pointing makes me not want to even be in someone else's presence and definitely not want to listen to what they have to say. I don't personally know anyone who is or was a propagandhi fan because they didn't already think the same as them when they first heard them and then were sold by the finger pointing. Maybe they're out there, but my experience was definitely that the young anger in the music just spoke to other young angry people and wasn't some catalyst for change. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it seems like they've grown as people and calmed down in a way that is probably healthy for their well being.

Honestly, I know them for essentially one song as most do; and it's in regards to a current issue. Whether the cogs work or not, a catalyst is still a catalyst. If you have a working spark plug but the rest of the device is busted, you can't blame the catalyst.
