Haha lots of reasons! 😅 Nothing bad but I felt like I wanted to experience growing plants in Pon and soil just to widen my knowledge about how plants grow in different mediums. I wanted a balanced ratio between them. I still prefer LECA and would love to have my entire collection in LECA. I do find my plants grow bigger and faster.

Kevin! any tips on fertilizing lechuza pon? I kept experiencing nutrient deficiency with them:( also root rot! I've never experience this with leca, but sure rot alot of my plants in pon.

Okay so I'm also having a hard time too specifically with my Anthuriums in Pon. That's why I like having hoyas and syngoniums in Pon because they don't need a lot to thrive. I tend to do a light mixture of my LECA nutrients every month but only if I am able to flush the Pon. Most of my philodendrons that I put into Pon rot 🤣🤣🤣

Please Kevin if you don't know what to do with your propagations, DHL/fedex them to me here in Borneo, they'll be well taken care of with all this warmth and humidity 😂 new sub here btw, been watching a few vids of yours and fell in love with you and your gorgeous plants! I just bought a monstera deliciosa 2-leaf cutting couple of weeks ago and it wasn't doing much until few days ago i noticed a new leaf growing! So excited! But then also discovered one leaf had rust fungus so today i cut it off, took the growing leaf out of its soil and now sitting in water to be transferred into leca when it's ready. I like your formula mix too but a quick search on google showed that it'll cost me upwards of 1k for the set😢 cant find anything similar to them here so im making do with what i have. Currently have a tiny ficus tineke in leca (my first leca experiment) that has 2 roots poking out the bottom! Sorry for the long comment, on an older video at that 😅 cheers!

I realize I’m months behind on this (and honestly that’s kind of so on brand for me LOL) but yes! Put that tree up early! :) My mom was always a decoration dictator- absolutely no Christmas up until after thanksgiving and everything was down by New Year’s Eve. Now that I have my own son we always put up the tree early! We love being able to enjoy the Christmas magic a little longer. Plus if I’m already in the garage putting Halloween decor away, might as well bring up Christmas while I’m down there! Haha I did have a question though, have you ever tried growing baby tissue culture plants before? If you have could you maybe do a video or share any tips or tricks with them? I just got two little baby tc Thai Cons yesterday (first Thai and first tc and I’m so worried I’m going to ruin them) they have been a wishlist plant for so long and your video is making me feel so inspired to get them to grow big and beautiful like yours! I put one in my betta tank to root, it’s sitting in a tiny net pot with leca and two albo nodes. Hoping my betta will work his magic! Also have you ever used Stratum? I use leca and soil for most of my plants but have just heard about stratum. I wasn’t sure if you had any experience with it before and/or what you thought about it? I got some for the 2nd little Thai con baby but I have a horrible habit of overthinking everything and again just so worried and don’t want to ruin it! (So sorry for rambling!) You are one of my top favorite KZbin plant channels and wanted to say thank you for sharing your knowledge and your beautiful plants with us!
