Hi Jason, great video, thank you for sharing. Can you post another video of how the trees are doing in a few weeks? What rooting hormone did you use and where did you buy it from?

Thanks, I used "Garden Safe" "Take Root" You can get it online, or at Wal mart, Tractor supply, etc. I need to transplant them, they are still in the pot in the video but I'll do an update soon.

@@SwimmingintheDeep Thanks. Early Fall is a good time to transplant them. Have you had much luck propagating other plants with the rooting hormone?

@@vzsvz3 yes, I have several Lime Light and Oak Leaf Hydrangea started currently. I think knockout roses are easy as well.

Hi, how far apart did you plant these originally? Thanks
@SwimmingintheDeep

About 12-14 feet.

@@SwimmingintheDeep I’m trying to get a good privacy fence, very thick with these but still want them healthy. You think 10ft apart would work? Thanks!
@SwimmingintheDeep
@SwimmingintheDeep 5 ай бұрын
@@marcomendoza7502 I think that would be good but I would not do any closer. They need room for air to circulate to remain healthy.

Update?

Thanks for asking. Here's the update video kzbin.info/www/bejne/oISshXZ8orWfo6c . About two months ago I transplanted them straight to the yard from this pot. They had a lot of roots, 6 times as much or more as this video. Two are still in the pot. All that were doing well in the video are still doing well. I am watering them when I remember with water from a bucket. I imagine next year they may gain two feet then three-four feet a year after that. Look for the update by this weekend and I'll try to remember to post a link here on your comment as well. Thanks for the comment!
