Got to love plant propagation. :) I use a clear plastic tote with a clear lid instead of bottles indoors, where I put all my small potts with cuttings in.

Very useful to increase your stock and also to sell small plants in your local area on Fb or Shpock with little cost to yourself ,, when I sell surplus plants ,, I wrap them in newspaper to make it as eco as possible and the younger people really love it as these’s no plastic waste ,, best wishes, Lisa

You seem to be feeling better, or at least at the tail end of your illness. Hope the rest of the family is over it. Still, take it easy so you don't relapse. I enjoyed seeing you actually cut the dahlia to make a new start, but I was surprised that you don't use rooting powder. I had a beautiful Star Elite that got gall. I was going to throw it out and now I wonder if I should pot it up, let it grow and then take a cutting from it. Would the cutting have gall tendencies? What are your thoughts on this, please.

In my opinion I would definitely not use it. Without doing any research and only having experience I wouldn’t personally do that. A clone is taking genes and dna from the mother plant. The reason for the clone is taking all the same characteristics. I would do a little more research, but I personally would t take that risk.
