If you have grasses, you can spray grass specific herbicides as long as you don't have grains. But like you said, usually with brassicas you never really have to worry about weeds because they outgrow every weed.

​@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors agreed. I try to mow in the spring and spray gly and 24d a week later. Then in late June early July I'll spray just gly. Then with spreading brassicas I'll seed, roll and spray just gly one last time. Works great. Planting 1/2 acre of Wingman, 1/2 acre Showstopper with 30' wide incognito surrounding. On my incognito I sprayed gly twice. Once In spring and once at seeding along with simazine at seeding.
