You shouldn't EVER use those "baby" carrots. They're nothing more than misshapen/ugly carrots that are turned down by machine into those identical nice looking pieces, then sprayed with a bleach solution to keep them from rotting. Same as with ALL pre cut vegetables and fruits. The Can Cooker isn't a steamer, it's a pressure cooker. WHY wouldn't you sear that meat first and use beef broth/stock? And you should put a quarter over the vent hole to help increase the pressure inside and help it cook more like a traditional pressure cooker. That's what I do with mine and you'd be surprised how much it improves the cooker's performance.

Great advice at 76 years of age and many years of deer hunting on my own hunting properties you have given very sound information concerning corn as an attractant, I also would like to add that this advice will be most effective to pre rut feeding. Once rut has gone into play buck patterns of feeding change to fast food mode and may vary their feeding habits. I enjoy your videos... . good job !!!

A guy i used to work for said he was hunting out of his tree stand on his own property and eatched another hunter come walking across his land,so he yells at him " hey you know you're on private property without permission right " ? Tells the guy to hang on so he can get diwn and talk with him . apparently the guy tried to argue with him so he punched the trespasser. then he goes on to say the guy beat the brakes of of him. so i guess the moral of the story is no matter the situation its probably just a good idea to ask someone to leave and not come back.

If you wouldn’t have said you’re planting too early 90 times I wouldn’t understood
@TrumpWon4203 күн бұрын
"The best time to plant a fruit tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. " Your logic is flawed. The deer are always feeding on a different food source. Every couple of months/ correction, Potentially daily, or so. With a focus on diversity of food options and time they rippen. You can't have too much food on your property. The deer population rises and falls baised on food available. If the land can feed 100 deer, you'll have 100 deer. * Of course, shelter and water still matter.

Chris, pull that card off the cam and you’ll see the pics you are expecting. I don’t even care for the HD requests on my cell cam. They aren’t any better than the transmitted pic. Card is there the great pixel pics reside. Course you are taking away the whole idea of a cell cam if you go to it regularly. Unless yours is SD careless which would suck. Maybe they have a cable or Something. Not sure how you pull those.

We have a farming acquaintance who has had trespassers shooting dogs and livestock, and has had bullets whizzing thru his barn WHILE HE WAS WORKING IN IT!
@Tom-qx5nl7 күн бұрын
I've had the trespass issue a couple of times on my property with guys running dogs coon hunting........at midnight and their dogs going crazy. They knew it was private property, and they gave the same BS line....." well we've been hunting here for 20-30 years". I told them that I've owned the property for 10 years and never seen or heard them before. Legally I could take possession of their dogs or dispose of them, but the dogs don't know any better, they just go where their owner brings them. I told them they were trespassing without permission to hunt and told them leave and don't come back or they'll be prosecuted. One group of guys (3) left a pile of beer bottles and trash where they had their vehicle parked when they left. They will NEVER be granted permission to hunt my property as long as I own it. I'm a hunter and in 56 years, I've always known where I was in the woods and never disrespected another's property line.

I understand what you’re saying, but past two years we’ve had zero rain in NW TN. Cereal rye, oats have been only salvage crop after years of drilling very expensive brassica blend, lime, fertilizer and soil samples. Zero rain has been devastating. Wasted $1,000 of dollars in expensive seed from highly reputable seed companies only to watch it fail miserably. Did everything right, that I’ve done in past with success, only to go to winter wheat/oats and yes, rye broadcasted that ultimately salvaged my season in September after summer crop dried up to nothing when rain returns . Drought is the issue and seems to be getting worse every season. Front 60 acres of late beans have failed epically. I’ve spent thousands on high quality seed, followed best practice planting (drill) and timing only to watch it dry-up and produce nothing. Agree with box store outdated and ineffective cheap seed. Thanks for the video. Another stressful, fingers crossed hail-Mary 2 years in a row. Usually plant it on 7 acres and so far has saved my season and provided late-season food that has worked some.

The hunting community at large is very selfish. In the situation like you mention on public land, you tell a person a thing, and they are all over you along with many others to do 2 things. Try and get after deer you have found or to totally ruin your time in hopes you will leave the area. Even hunting leases will have this kind of behavior. This is the prime reason I hunt my own land alone. I dont even like to tell my neighbors everything. I limit my information greatly. I like my neighbors, but when they have 130 acres and I have 8... I dont want everyone piled up on me. Course it is hard to explain how I tag out every year when im seeing so little :D

I prefer food trees over food plots because I don't have the equipment to make plots but I also hunt year around on small game and pelts. We have more birds and rabbits which has brought in some nice deer but also foxes squirrels bobcats and it helps the ecosystem of your land

Hey! I know this is old but curious. In costal SC. Lots of competition around me and hunting 11 acres. Do you think I’d have more success with a .75 acre food plot or corn+feeder? (Been doing corn but lack of mature bucks)
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors29 күн бұрын
@@dylandavison I would do a food plot with spreading corn in that plot and not using a feeder. Keep pressure low and only only when there’s something there you wanna shoot monitoring it with a cell cam. Lots of other factors but that’s a starting poitn
