Great video. It's nice to have a live visual instead of just a picture. Makes more sense now

Tell you what is a mind bender. Got a Glock 48 and had sights put on it . Been shooting it left , sights on appearance are centered . So I keep training for 2 weeks trying to break the habit . Took some dial calipers and measured the rear sight. Turns out it is a 64th or so to the left. Just know that is enough to put you about 2 inches left at 10-12 yards.

Doesn't matter if you can miss 17 times, it matters who can make a hit first. You're gonna run out of time before you run out of ammo.

And, if you can do this with both eyes open, you have a better ability to gain some focus on your target as well...and gain a tactical advantage of a perephial field of vision. Myself, personally, get better focus on the front sight when I keep both eyes open. Also, I have discovered the magic of the red dot. I don't use one on my pistol. However, shooting my rifle with a red dot, I have achieved great results in sighting with both eyes open. Then taking this result, and applying it to shooting my pistol, with both eyes open, it has improved my ability to focus on the front sight. Can't explain it easily....I would recommend trying it.

Biggest part that people don't teach about this is your angle of site your looking at the sites from. No one hold a gun right up to their eye to make sure everything is level before shooting. Your head is above your shoulder. And no one raises their gun above their head/shoulders to properly shoot. So you always have a downward angle of vision on the sites. So actually proper citing would have the front site slightly higher then the rear

There are other factors that come into play when target shooting. Your grip, how much of your finger you use when pulling the trigger for example. This is great for aligning your target but that doesn’t guarantee you’ll hit where you’re aiming for. 🥴

Need to maintain proper sight alignment while having trigger control so it doesn't affect your sight alignment

Ok,, so if your rear sight is supposed to be "fuzzy" then how do you get a proper sight picture?

Actual at 7 yards. The right picture would only shoot alittle to the right.... not that high.
