This is a nice design, but I suggest it be made an inch (1) longer. (bigger dogs require bigger dog treats!) Adding an eyelet to the bottom panel allows poo bags to be pulled out without too much hassle. Also, replacing the magnetic clip with velcro makes for a dog proof bag! Otherwise, thanks for the pattern and video!

Oh I recommend using clips instead of pins on nylon and vinyl type things that don't heal esp when using them for any waterproof thing as the pins leave holes perminately. You can get seam sealing tape to seal the parts where you stitched as well to really make it waterproof if you ever are looking for that in a future project. They also sell food safe PUL fabrics in different thicknesses and stretch or no stretch which are great for snack bags.

I'd love to see a poop bag feature on this bag, and perhaps a belt clip as opposed to the webbing belt

During the pandemic I took up sewing to make 3D masks. As the world opened up, I haven’t touched my machine since. Cleaning my desk I thought to myself, I should put my machine away. Then, I searched “how to make a dog sweater” (a project I have been wanted to do for a friend for 2 years) and poof, you have reignited my crafty side. I just adopted a dog and needed a treat bag. With 100’s (def not 100’s, but lots) of yards of fabric left from making masks, I will definitely be making the treat bags as gifts for friends this holiday season. Cool thing is, they can be used for other trinkets too. AirPods, keys, etc. thanks for your wonderful videos. I am definitely not putting away my machine now. 😅

Where does the zippered entry go? Is there a way to make it have its own pocket rather than the underside of the treat pouch? It seems kind of aesthetic and not functional this way.

As a beginner sewist (this is my third project ever finished) this project took me 8.5hrs. This time didn't include 1) buying materials or 2) buying and printing the pattern. The time did include deciding what fabric in my stash to use, unpicking and redoing two sections, learning how to work with magnets and how to make bias tape. I thought that it may help others who are starting out and struggle (like myself) to know how to estimate how long a project will take. The only part that went majorly wrong for me is that the front zipper component came out shorter than the side and back panel so I had to shorten the whole project leaving me little room above the magnets to put the bias tape without the stitching curving.
