Something similar to the Exploding Forretress at 59:11 happened to me today. I was running around on an island in the Casseroya Lake, and found a Shiny Stunky. Went to battle it so I could catch it. Broke out of one ball then used Explosion right after. And I had no idea it could learn explosion until it happened, and I didn’t save before I went to encounter it because of that. Not only that, but it was my first Shiny Fail in Scarlet. Did get 3 Shiny Scyther and a Shiny Flamigo trying to reclaim it though.
