I would not recommend anyone to install wsl2. Instead, I would suggest to create a dual boot, such that a person can switch between native Windows and native Ubuntu.

​@@家人们别学土木类 I am not sure. I installed Anaconda and Spider on a fresh installation of Ubuntu on my PC, and the GPU I am using can be recognized after appropriate NVIDIA drivers are installed. I am not sure about VMware.
