I love all that you design and build ❤! Double love the fact that you’re Canadians !!! You help promote our “niceness” globally. And we Canadians are VERY NICE 😊. Kudos to your parents for being open to moving at their ages…90’s for dad. I know many folks who won’t move even if it’s to be closer to their children and grandchildren….when someone hits 80 , most answers are NO, we’re good here. They both look very vibrant at their ages …. You two come from excellent genes ! You two got some of your momma’s creativity , and an eye for what works together ; her paintings are awesome. What I LOVE LOVE the most …awwww …that kitchen and that outdoor kitchen ….WOWZA …. I could cook all day with a place like that! Santa Monica is the right place for outdoor living. And that JDU is a gorgeous place for guests ….who would want to leave ???? hahaha Parker got a wonderful place too ! 😉😉 When my boys were young , they LOVED cardboard , they were creative and built a fort. They didn’t want the expensive toys at Parker’s age … they were delighted with cardboard . Hahahaha I bought them a toy kitchen ( which annoyed my husband …. I said they have to learn to cook …I don’t want my daughter-in-laws to be mad at me for not preparing them to be a true partner in all that they do ) .When I retire I want a house like this remodel, on the inside …..I would have to leave Canada if I have that outdoor Mecca you gave them. Great video and I always been a big fan for many years now . Your show was the show I watched and rewatch when I wanted a break from my studies for my professional exams. Entertaining and learning about what’s trending in remodeling. Have a wonderful family , fun filled Christmas….I am sure the grandkids would enjoy a sleep over at their grandparents this Christmas , minus the parents. ❤ from Toronto .

I love your parents. Such gentle and kind people. Too, I loved that they lived in the west end of Vancouver when they were younger. My great grandfather’s house was at 1020 Chilco Street and my grandmother was raised there. The house is long gone, but I know that area well. Your parents’ new home in LA is beautiful, and they are a great example for all of us of accepting life changes with grace and class. I wish you guys would bring your renovations to coastal north county area of San Diego. Just saying.
