Hey guys thank you all for your comments and feedback it is very much appreciated. I was asked by one of you to emphasize that there are two Arlington properties that were developed by two different companies. One is called Arlington Estate and the other one is called Arlington East. The one I have shown you in the video is Arlington East. I hope this is helpful. As usual guys please always verify the information that I provide in my videos before making a decision. And please keep the comments and feedback coming so that we can all benefit.😀

Those 2 bed room houses should be cottages for the house maid and her husband and kids! The Landlords main house can be on the same property or somewhere else not too far away.

I personally think this is a bad deal mainly because of our economy ... for the $54,000 unit whicn you have to finish on your own, you pay back roughly $93,000 after the tenure, then $105,000 in total that is a bit pricey for a house in Tynwald, I think you would never be able to flip this house for a profit, Property Gurus can correct me if I'm wrong

Thank you for the feedback. I do agree that it is not the most favorable deal it is a bit pricey and for me i also found the houses a bit small. On the other hand just to look at both sides it might be something to consider if you are currently renting paying USD$500 or more per month. At least that amount will be going towards your own property unlike giving to someone. As for the finishing's one can work on them whilst staying there. If then you eventually find a better place to stay you can try to sell and top up. It might be a good start.

@@Life_invested Probably if youare really desperate to have a place you call your own and worry less about rentals, it will work, they have an upcoming project in Glaudina, did you get a chance to visit it?

@@DakaraiManyati i agree mortgages are expensive , very very expensive. If you can raise the amount needed for a house it is way better to pay cash. The only big advantage of mortgages is the option to own a property and pay as you go. Its not that you are desperate to have a place. It is about looking for options to invest especially to those who currently pay huge amounts of rent. If you pay USD$600 per month after one year you have paid $7200 and after 5 years you have paid $36000. If you pay it towards your mortgage Even if that $36000 is profit for the bank it has helped you pay for your house rather than just giving it to someone.

They’re pretty cute despite the size. Perfect for small families and singles. Are the homes standalone or do they share a wall with the neighbor??

Hi Gamu ,the ones I saw are semi detached not sure if they have stand alone houses. And yes the units are a bit small but might be ideal for small families.

hi kkk no muti or juju, but its possible to buy or build your own property. there are so many property options which might not necessarily be this one. You can buy land and pay installments. Then you can start building we took that option. For now look for properties within the price range you are comfortable with and then later you can consider more properties and options.

@@pearcekanyoka2453 Yes you are right , most people can’t afford and even in good economies property investment is generally expensive. It’s not just unique to Zimbabwe. But the whole idea of this channel and my videos is to motivate people to try. Most things in life need an extra push, you need to have dreams that are beyond you so that when you wake up every day you can say what can I do to achieve my dreams. I just bought a property that I never thought I would buy and I want to do more . I know can’t afford right now, it doesn’t look possible right now. But every day that I wake up I ask myself what can I do so that I can achieve my goals. Yes you are a cleaner right now but what is your end goal? What do you want eventually? How will you get there?

kkk property investment is a bit expensive hey. But the good thing is there are so many options, you don't necessarily have to go for this one, search for more options that are within the range you are comfortable in terms of quality and price. Also please keep watching my videos I'm trying to share as many options as possible. And also lets chase our dreams good or bad economy we only get to live once😀

@@pearcekanyoka2453 Hi, ok thats a good start Leengate has stands in Nyabira im sure that falls within your budget. I know Nyabira is a bit far from Harare esp if you will need to commute everyday but it is a growing area close to the new parliament. Will see if i can get more options for you. Then as a start , you can save so that you raise the initial deposit required. There is also Rainham Park close to DZ it used to have very reasonable payment terms not so sure now because these developers tend to increase prices once they have gained popularity in the market. But just check it out and weigh the options.
