I was born in America but my parents are both Nigerian and one of the most amazing things that I love about this video is that she came to Ghana humble but also able to accept to work with Ghanaians to help build homes for others and share her western experience with them. Just because a lot of parts of Ghana or many African communities are poor it doesn't mean they have to stay that way. I am so happy to hear about these smooth paved roads, electricity and solar energy. It is desperately needed. It warms my soul to see Africans and Black Americans working together because that means to me that Africa is less likely to be exploited the way they have been in the past. This is so powerful and I think keeping prices low for Black Americans to make that transition slowly is key. Thank you for this. ❤

Meaning no offense, but the word Diaspora is reserved only for use of the Jewish Diaspora; Webster's New World Dictionary says to capitalize Diaspora only for "the dispersion of the Jews after the Babylonian exile" and for "the Jews thus dispersed." It says to use lower case diaspora for "any other scattering of people with a common origin, background, beliefs, etc."
