I was born in America but my parents are both Nigerian and one of the most amazing things that I love about this video is that she came to Ghana humble but also able to accept to work with Ghanaians to help build homes for others and share her western experience with them. Just because a lot of parts of Ghana or many African communities are poor it doesn't mean they have to stay that way. I am so happy to hear about these smooth paved roads, electricity and solar energy. It is desperately needed. It warms my soul to see Africans and Black Americans working together because that means to me that Africa is less likely to be exploited the way they have been in the past. This is so powerful and I think keeping prices low for Black Americans to make that transition slowly is key. Thank you for this. ❤

It is empowering to see a woman in her 70s starting a new life on her own in a new country. I am also in my early 70s and have a 9% 🇬🇭 🧬 I love the dresses they are wearing. The Westerner lady is wearing an African style/print and the African lady is wearing a trending Western style👍🏾🇨🇦

I am happy that she was able to fulfill her dreams. A lot of Americans retire elsewhere for cost and to have different experiences. It's too bad some Americans can't feel at home in their own country due to skin color. She found the truth. In Africa she is the same person she is in America. I agree she has built a very desirable place for her future and her family to enjoy.
