I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Kimberly Doran

The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

We bought in Brisbane in Sept 2019, after we moved from Melbourne. Turned out to be one of the best financial decisions we ever made, due to our timing being just before the pandemic. They being said, something has got to give. House prices are totally out of alignment with incomes. I worked in big tech and had a really high income. Got laid off recently and seeing what’s going on in the job market, there is no way the housing market is sustainable. Household incomes in this country have been flat for decades. The only thing keeping the market afloat is negative gearing and the capital gains discount. It’s just a house of cards built by property speculators over leveraging themselves. It’s also destroying this country economically due investment not flowing into businesses.

The Australian housing market is the biggest asset bubble in the history of the world!...Bigger then the Dutch Tulip bubble of the 1630's, Bigger than the South Sea bubble of 1720, Bigger than Japan's real estate and stockmarket bubble of the 1990's and bigger than the Dot Com bubble of the early 2000's..........I would like to see negative gearing scrapped at least that might chase off the {I invest for growth crowd} also known as Real Estate speculators!

I am looking to buy a removal/re-locatable - to build is far too costly for a 3BR/1Bathroom the old removal homes from 1930s-1970s are good hardwood and the reputable removalists ensure they're structurally sound - after all they're in their lots usually ready to buy. There's going to be some work to fixerupper but probably a third on any new from a developer though councils seem to be quite anti these usually hefty bonds, when in reality it's recycling.

Just had a long weekend on the Gold Coast show holiday Very quiet !!!!!!! People are pulling back on the spending big time. Few dads out for Father’s Day Sunday but that’s about it. Such a low stock of houses for sale on GC so prices aren’t coming down. Seems the southern buyers and foreigners will continue to keep the heat dialed on at least for a bit longer. Surely the flame outs not to far away though.

The Australian property market is probably the most corrupt market in the history of mankind. Every other part of the economy and society in general is sacrificed by corrupt governance of what is, in a civilized society, a basic human right which has turned into a monster.

Calling the Australian property market "the most corrupt in history" is a hyperbole. While there are challenges, like affordability, the market is highly regulated and transparent, with rules protecting buyers and sellers. It’s important to remember that property investment is a legitimate way for Australians to build wealth, and it plays a big role in the economy, supporting jobs and industries. The government also offers programs to help first-time buyers, like grants and concessions. Yes, housing is a basic need, but there’s a difference between having access to affordable housing and feeling entitled to homeownership. Owning a home is a choice and an investment, not a guaranteed right. While the market can be tough, it doesn’t make it corrupt or unfair.

@@drakelar1957 Rubbish. The housing market has been propped up for decades by corruption. If you believe a government regulator has the best interests of the people as their priority you are delusional. Government schemes, ridiculously low interest rates, outrageous levels of migration, the tax system etc etc are all designed to prop and/or make prices go up and have done nothing but destroy current and future generations chances of owning or even renting property. If ownership is only for the select few these days, then what level of income should you be on for the privilege? And why is it ok for current and future generations to be priced out of shelter when previous generations had no trouble affording it? Is it ok for Australia to have expanding tent cities and increasing levels of civil unrest to protect Property owners? And if the property market is not corruptly propped, then surely we can remove negative gearing, ban AirBnB, ban foreign ownership, cut immigration by 90% and continue to raise interest rates to where they need to be to actually bring inflation down, then prices will be fine right because it's all legit growth? I'm disgusted that Australian's who were born here, work hard, have paid taxes all their lives and support our society are being priced out of owning a place to live, not a mansion or even a decent sized house-literally any property. We have a system which is destroying the present and future for our children.

The Australian property market is just one big speculative bubble, as evidenced by the fact that no other housing market globally relies on auctions like we do.
