It's not a good time to buy for foreigners. Prices are at an all time high and residency is now hard to get. Also buying a propety to let is far more difficult with the new short term let permit needed

This was the perfect time for me to sell and buy when the market was slower. Good discounts to be found motivated sellers willing to negotiate . Properties had been sat on the market since last qtr 2023. My property was snapped up quickly I was fortunate.

From a make believe Q&A with the owner of Property Turkey Mr Cameron, the video ended with a full blown sales pitch trying to convince the naive investor to invest “now”. Amazon and most online sellers use this tactic. Whereas the current scenario of the market is far from what is being portrayed. Prices are all time high, in USD, with little to no signs of slowing down, let alone already gone down 10%, as claimed in the video. And the market, like the economy, is at an an all time vulnerability, and you’re right, which may last for another seven years. So let’s be honest and not try to misrepresent the situation. The fact that the video obviously is a desperate attempt to sell in a stagnant and struggling market, should indicate to the investors to hold on, especially the foreigners for whom the current immigration policies and political situation is not in favor. In the end Property Turkey is a real estate agency, not a market analyst, so beware and take advice from, and approach an experienced consultant in Turkey, preferably an expat who’s been dealing with properties, before you get lured in to buying “now”.

Hello there This discussion should we enter into one can go on forever. So let’s take a different approach. I make some claims in my narrative which you see as a desperate attempt to get sales. It’s your viewpoint and I respect that. I will however challenge you to contact me next year this time. Rather than discussing let’s agree to reconnect in 12 months.
