Great Testimony Pastor Doug, I also had a broken soul I was ready to give up. I thought is this what life is really about you marry have a few kids and after 25 years of marriage it all goes down the drain. So I prayed to the Lord and asked for His guidance to show me what the meaning of life is really about. And low and behold He sent me to your website and Iv'e been a follower ever since. Now I believe there is a meaning to life to follow our Lord and Savior for His soon coming and to trust in Him. He will wipe away all tears and pain and sorrow. I love how God reveals Himself to those who are truly seeking Him. He is so real. What a wonderful testimony. I've heard it before, but it was great to see/hear it again. It's an encouragement not to become distracted by things of no eternal consequence in this life.

It’s good to hear a real life unfiltered testimony. Many people would be afraid to give a testimony like this because of the way it might make you look or because people won’t talk about things like this in church with so much detail. But the details are important. Talking about pot, pills, alcohol, stealing and how you changed your life is extremely important. Many people feel they are to deep to swim up and leave it all behind and begin a new life with God as the focal point. It’s a testimony that can reach those of us who may feel unredeemable. Anyone can be saved, no matter what your past is.

The Great Controversy was written as a compilation of other non-SDA authors' (still born again) books while Ellen White had suffered a head injury. The truth is not in soley in a denomination, including SDA but in His Word, His Holy Spirit and the truth is, there is a great controversy against Yesu and lucifer till Yehoshua/Jesus returns as the Lion.

Chuck Hackett your attitude seems very zealous, but not Godly..... I could spend an hour on false prophet Ellen G. White, but that wouldn’t help: your mind is made up. Listen to Dr. Walter Martin....Also, many others that once stood for her doctrine that now see the truth..... Stick to the narrative, The Word of God...... many others who were pillars in your faith have come to the saving grace of the truth. Just keep the word of God as your narrative not man or religion. True Christian doctrine should be squarely based on scripture. True Christian doctrine should agree with and support simple New Testament that was once for all ( no one else) delivered to the saints. Any other revelation (s) is heresy. We are saved by the gospel Christ died according to the scriptures, for our sins- He was buried-he was raised on the 3D day, and he appeared to Peter and The others credible eyewitnesses. These are the facts of the gospel, the content. Doctrinal pillar 1 taken from fundamental beliefs 18 The gift of prophecy= It says in part the writings of Ellen g white are a continuing and an authoritative SOURCE of TRUTH. Adventist’s have two sources of truth the Bible and the writings of Ellen g white. There is no new revelation of the word of God, but to contend for the faith once (and for all time) delivered to the saints. Some will say, “ We really don’t use the words of Ellen white to interpret the Bible this is not true! I could go on and on, but I’ve got things to do.... The glacial view statement a gathering in 1980 say......Her authority (Ellen g white) transcends all of non inspired interpreters of the scripture ( think about this) This is the same as revelation in these men’s mindset. So, they say her writings are far above anyone else’s comment on scripture (heresy) Robert Olson, who was the secretary of the White estates said this, “ I believe that both Ellen g white and the Apostle Paul were true prophets who wrote under the influence of the Holy Spirit..... Robert Olson, My reason for believing in the inspiration of one is identical for believing in the inspiration of the other.... This tells us that EGWhite writings continue as a source of truth... The current general conference president when he was inaugurated He said this, “ While the Bible is paramount, in our estimation and ultimate authority and final arbitrary of truth ( any time you hear spirit of prophecy=Ellen g. White’s writing and testimonies refer to her 10 volume set)The Spirit of Prophecy provides clear, inspired, council to aid our application of Bible truth, it is a heaven sent guide (NOT) to instruct the church and how to carry out its mission..... Listen to this heresy...... Quote...... Talking about Ellen white..... It is a reliable ( Ellen’s testimony’s and writings) theological, expositor of the BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES...... What does Ellen White say about her own writings????? If you lesson confidence in the people in the testimonies He (not God) then you are rebelling against God ( nothing but blasphemy Ellen G. In these letters which I write ( E G W) in the testimonies I bare I am presenting to you what the Lord has presented unto me.... I do not write one article in the paper expressing my own views they are what God opened to me in vision ( There is no new revelation, but contend for the true faith once and for all time delivered unto the saints) The precious ray of light shining from the throne.... Testimonies to the church volume 5 you believe Ellen g whites writings are are a continuation source of truth 2. Many Adventist’s ( not all) put her writings on the same level as scripture. Also, Ellen white herself stated that what she wrote came from God. This woman is a false teacher/prophet and Paul spoke out against these hirelings....... Go back to the Gospel not EGW....... Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him/her be accursed........... I spoke in love. I did not attack you in any way...... You’re standing for a woman who could care less for you. Traditions die hard. I know, I’ve been there..... God bless you brother......

@@jonathanstewart8993 Don't forget that you test all the writings of anyone that claims any portion of the gift of prophecy. Or anyone for that matter when it comes to biblical truth. Even in scientific theories and hypothesis need to be tested if they are true or not: 1 John 4:1 KJV Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
