Most of the scholars say that Idrees is a nabiy that came between Sheeth and Nuh ‘alayhis salaam. There is an opinion of Ibn Mas’ood that Idrees is the same nabiy as Ilyaas, but that is a lonely opinion; the rest say that he was a nabiy between Sheeth and Nuh.
Ibn Ishaaq said that he was the first man to write with a pen. He was born when Adam still had 308 years of his life to live.
Allah did mention of Idrees in the Qur’aan: “And mention in the Book (the Quran) Idris (Enoch).Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet. And We raised him to a high station.” (19:56-57)
During the Night Journey, the Prophet sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam passed by him in fourth heaven. In a hadith, Ibn ‘Abbaas asked Ka’b what was meant by the part of the verse which says, “And We raised him to a high station.” Ka’b explained:
Allah revealed to Idris: ‘I would raise for you every day the same amount of the deeds of all Adam’s children’ - perhaps meaning of his time only. So Idris wanted to increase his deeds and devotion. A friend of his from the angels visited and Idris said to him: ‘Allah has revealed to me such and such, o could you please speak to the angel of death, so I could increase my deeds.’ The angel carried him on his wings and went up into the heaven. When it was the fourth heaven, they met the angel of death, who was descending down towards earth. The angel spoke to him, about what Idris had spoken to him before. The angel of death said: ‘But where is Idris?’ He replied, ‘He is upon my back.’ The angel of death said: ‘How astonishing! I was sent and told to seize his soul in the fourth heaven. I kept thinking how I could seize it in the fourth heaven when he was on the earth?’ Then he took his soul out of his body, and that is what is meant by the verse: ‘And We raised him to a high station.’

If people in that time were very tall and Idris AS lived during Adam AS time how was He and other people were able to ride horses. Adam AS was 60 cubits tall that roughly equals 90ft. Then the horses must have been huge as well or we are not properly informed about the heights and sizes of ancient civilizations. And also isn't the first messenger Nooh AS. Idris was before the time of Nooh AS. How is He a messenger. According to wikipedia He was a Prophet. I would be grateful if anyone could answer these ambiguities. Allah is great.

Do you believe the earth rotates? Just few years ago it was believed it's against the quran. So don't assume our understanding of text is what Allah is saying. Evolution is in quran in beginning of surah sajdah - or the possibility of interpretation is open just as the rotation of earth was

This is the first time i have heard that the muslim scholars are/ were against of the present model of solar system concept and the rotation of the earth which is clearly mentioned in the Quran. Anyway if you believe we r from evoluation process then, there should be a group of first human being rather than "the first man" or the "first pair" which clearly goes against Quran. I am always open for the rational reasoning of logics. but the theory of evolution always seemed firmly contradictory. I would rather ask for deeper studies the tafsir of Surah Sajdah.

re-read the text - the interpretation is possible. for example in surah albaqarah how did the angels know that the human creation will spill blood (possible the first humans before intellgent Adam or homosapians) when you say "the first man" or first pair is not clear and dont think this is true at all - it is true however in the hadith tradition in regards to adam similar to the current bible (old testement) view. I'm not saying that there is no exceptions in evolution - the bowing of rooh in Adam is possibly the (missing link) also in the quran the 8 cattels are sent down from Allah - so it might indicates they are the exception. Allah told us to examin the camel in surah alghashyah - maybe the answer is in the came! there is a theory on this a book called shajara code - I don't fully agree with it, but at least I have the door open for possible interpretations and not rely on the hadith that could be possible altered in meaning or fabricated . Just as the scholars were sure in the past (read tabari ) the earth did not rotate, the same will happen to the theory of evolution - dont be surprised if evolution becomes one of the miracles of the quran - just give it some time. if Allah makes us live enough we might see it in our life time

though all of your sentences are not clear to me, i might have understood you and your level knowledge in quran, hadith and the bible. the concept of first human in islam is not from ambiguous traditions , it is clearly mentioned in quran. and the story from genesis (old testament ) is different from quran in a lot of perspectives.

According to their previous video (Hazrat Sheath) there is a gap of 4 generations between Hazrat Sheath and Hazrat Idris. Means Hazrat Sheath was Great great grandfather of Hazrat Idris

Also one Hadith mentioning Go to Nooh as he is the first Messenger sent by Allaah." “Verily, We have sent the Revelation to you (O Muhammad) as We sent the Revelation to Nooh (Noah) and the Prophets after him” [al-Nisa’ 4:163] I am confused about the matter.

Jasmine siddiqui Idris (Enoch son of Seth) was the 7th generation of Adam and was one of the Sons of Seth/Sethite. some say that there is no one in the lineage of Seth that was named 'Enoch' and people are just confusing him with 'Enosh (Enos)' the literal son of Seth. but if you look at the lineage, there IS someone who is named 'Enoch' in the lineage of Seth, he is Enoch the Patriatch/Prophet who died in the 4th Heaven.

According to the book of Jasher, Enoch was so wise, entire races and whole kingdoms gave him authority. Nationa bowed to his wisdom they feared to even glimpse his face. His holiness, righteousness and God fearing morality made the races, tribes, empires and kingdoms of the pre flood world fear him. He was holier than Moses and more accomplished than Abraham in the pre flood world. Enoch in first and second Enoch in these books and in the books of the Giants, he judged angels, casted judgment towards the sins of Angels who rebelled against God, Enoch was delivered into heaven and he was but a man. Not a God but a man. Enoch delivered the message of God to Azazel and Hayez, a Grigori, fallen angel, and a nephilim, half man half angel. These reprobates and rebels feared God and Enoch. Enoch was known as a scribe from God. Enoch was in the world thousands of years ago. It is unknown if the flood affected the whole world killing everyone, or if that's perspective hyperbole Semitic speech for the middle-east. But in a ungodly sinful era ran by the godless and wicked who's acted in all wickedness place into their hearts violence, lust, rape, pedophilia, prostitution and concoction to sterilize themselves with potions as to keep their youth, this to a sin as God demands we have children so that prophets maybe born. Voluntary sterility acts against the demands of God to be fruitful and multiply. The lord God sent Enoch so his line can remain pure and untainted by these sterile potions or the lust of the fallen angels. Giving us Methuselah and Noah. The 4 books I mentioned are not biblical or quranic but midrashic, a commentary history book exegesis. Though can be treated as scripture. Book of Jasher, book of the giants and first two Enochs. (The third Enoch is a heresy written by a rabbi) Enoch was a remarkable man.

I have a sincere advice to everyone. Do not accept anything as a Deen or God messengers event. Do not believe anyone without cited sources, do not believe any source if it's not quran or saying of prophet. Do not believe any saying of prophet unless the source is authentic. So if someone cited ibn katheer as an example, don't believe it unless it's quran or true saying of the prophet. Christian and Jewish not to be believed nor said it's false. So it's not reliable as Deen and definitely shouldn't make a video about a prophet and portray to Muslims that this is authentic while it's not. Idris is mentioned in few verses and hadith and most of what's been said many never heard of and require citation for us to investigate the truth

Tanoh Mayden, Your comment was interesting but not fully validated. ? You wanted to know? What I can understand of you, that you have a modern and scientific understanding of universe. But science doesn't answer all our questions. There's lot more to explore yet. ‎ Now come to the point, maybe there's no historical or archeological foundings about Idris (AS), that doesn't mean he or some prophets didn't existed. There's a lot of prophets chosen by our Creator, time to time, to guide generations humans. And we only know a few of them, mentioned by our Creator in chain of monolithic religions/books. So, Idris(AS) existed, when? No one knows, it's long past. How he looked like? No one knows, even this Abdullah you mentioned. I'm not sure about the language, which language we'll speak, when we die. I'm not dead yet. Only Allah(The Creator) knows best. Now, Why Arabic? Because people of Arabia was so lost that time, and the last prophet and messenger Muhammad(SAW) was chosen there to guide next generations. And obviously he wasn't like others of that time. He couldn't read or write, but he wasn't a brain less person. I think you understand what I mean to say. Also to clearify, Multiverse is scientifical hypothesis, not practical science or a proven method. And Evolution took place, it's a long term process and pretty complicated topics to discuss. I don't want to include details here, anyone can Google it, if needed. I think, I have touched all points mentioned, Thanks.

I went to Heaven more then once or my spirit has. Jesus Christ was there and i spoke to him face to face. He is the Word Of God, he is the only begotten Son of God.
