+logicbloke Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wassalam forbade it because he saw a child who had hair on some parts of his head and a few patches were shaved becausetheir parents thought this will save the child from the evil eye. it was then when Prophet Muhammad (S.a.w) forbade that. It doesnt apply to this hairstyle that the shaykh has brother. :)
