Do you really think that today there isn't a physical war? The war of ideas is and always has been a fight between haqq and baatil. Another question: did the Prophet s.a.w ask the sahabah to be strong to prepare for something unexpected or did they all know that it is inevitable that they would need to physically defend the deen of Allah for it to be implemented on Earth?
