Dear Bernice, on July 23rd, I had a dream very similar to part of your dream that begins in 3:44. I don't often do this but parts of the dream were so vivid that I felt compelled to write down what I remembered. In my dream, I traveled to a non-christian country and attended a meeting like the one you describe. Throughout the dream there were duplicates of many things. I received two photocopied tickets to this meeting at a convenience store and there were two meetings happening in two hotels. A cab driver who took us there asked, which of the two are you going to? When I went into the concert hall within the hotel, there was a female singer who was leading worship and she was wearing a very fancy ballroom dress that was ungodly and excessive for the occasion. She was a self-professed convert from a different religion I won't name and in the audience were women who were intentionally hyping up the emotions with fake tears and feigned emotional expressions. Just like in your dream, there was a wife of a prominent politician who was networking with the audience and sharing her artificial and untrustworthy testimony that just followed a formula. I knew she had an ulterior motive as she interacted with the attendees. The atmosphere was stifling to me because others who attended the meeting were in a desperate need for a genuine move of God. In the dream, I thought it was very odd that the concert hall was divided in half. I wish I left a better note in my diary but it was like a mirror image of two sets of seats. There were two sets of prophecies, worship songs and I do not remember this part very well because my notes are not very good. Lastly, there was a pool of water just in front of the stage as a design feature and it was contaminated water. I had no sense of time frame but pecular details of the dream were very similar to what you describe, like ballroom gown, hyping emotions, and networking. There was a fake anointing presented to desperate people and there were groups of women strategically feigning and hyping emotions to keep it going. I don't remember seeing anything like it in real life but it was as if the secular culture and the worldly figureheads were intentionally taking over this scene because they recognized a great potential

Godliness with contentment [in godliness alone] is great gain (in God's sight). I've been in churches that put people in authority who probably were not biblically qualified. They could have been playing some "mind-game." I just thought that this meant the Bible was not that important to them or that no one really knew the Word of God. Churches that utilize expository sermons from the Word are at one end of the spectrum. Churches that have a few verses scattered in a one hour talk are probably at the other end of the spectrum. Some places might really believe that the Word of God is just an add-on to the show. That we really want "the mind of Pastor Willy" more than "the mind of Christ." I spend hours in the Word of God because I want God to know that what came out of His heart and mind matters to me supremely. I really could care less how manipulators "read" my actions, because God hasn't called me to be a man pleaser. The Bible school that I went to had 2 services: one in the morning & one in the evening. We had classes in between...all of them based on the word of God. None based on anyone's opinion. If you brought up scripture that contradicted what they said, they would thank you.

I've been under huge attack with verbal words from my boyfriend, he's not saved asked I have tried not to take offense. The verbal breakdowns daily killed my confidence and made me feel no love. I'm praying against offense, I'm praying against verbal abuse, I pray complaints turn into compliments, leaving turns into loving.
