I was raised in a nonspirit filled church. We never had the full teachings of spiritual gifts. I did not see the full operation of Spiritual gifts until college. Then I was a holy ghost fill Baptist lol. I did not get the baptism in Jesus name until years later. I am glad that I went down in the name of Jesus. One question to all how many times is the baptism in Jesus name listed in the bible and the three title baptism of Matthew 28:19?

John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word." There is power in the name of the Lord Jesus! The Word was God! Jesus is the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Spirit gives birth to spirit. We cast demons out in His name, we have power (Acts 2) in His name. Brothers and sisters, Jesus is the name that demons are subject to. Baptism is done so that we die to ourselves.

Do you think that the deciplea came out of the upper room and that they lost what Jesus had said to them? After that verse read the First two Chapters of Acts and the ending of all the Gospels they line up even before Saul was blinded and healed in Acts 9:1-19...mrtii

Because he didn't open his Bible that makes him false? I know several ministers who speak and don't open their Bible while preaching. If God is speaking to and through the man/woman of God and they have studied and prepared themselves before hand why would they need to open their Word if they are being led? Christians should know to open our Word and review the scripture without being told. I'm not condemning what you're saying or how you feel, I'm just asking a question and sharing.

Romans 10:9: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Study this chapter. Paul was referring to a group of born-again believers. They have already been baptized in His name in water and filled with the Holy Spirit. This is his admonition of continual godly living.

Once again we are back to doctrine/dogma on the 3 heads/Jesus name. As stated in Acts 5:28-42, if the Jesus name only movement is off it will come to nothing. It did not just start yesterday & has Christian organizations that believe in the teaching. If you study & do a few web searches you'll see that. It's amazing you say the Bible is how we get revelation from GOD, but that is only partial truth. My question for you is, so what verse is every single verse from Acts to Revelation in prior to it being written? In other words, match every single word "including" the words of Christ, start in the hebrew scriptures and find it repeated from Acts to Revelation? You won't. Thanks Mr.Taylor. i'm just tired of these false doctrine false prophets playing on the innocent sheep who want to know Yahweh. I too used to follow false doctrines but I thank Yahweh that he showed me who he was through his word. Most of us only read the Bible but we don't STUDY the bible or question our teachers, This is sometimes due to the fact that our leaders teach that "touch not my anointed" scripture out of context. God forgive every tongue that has spoken against your child, and your word. If you blaspheme God he shall forgive you. But if you blaspheme the holy spirit you will not be forgiven. Jesus was not exempt. He had to be baptized with water (because He was in human likeness) and baptized with the Holy Spirit (descending like a dove) to receive power. Someboody may say the man next to him on the cross did not get baptized. The origin of the church did not start until the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) so it must be fulfilled. Jesus manifests inside of us to do His good will and pleasure. PLEASE READ Acts 2, 10, 19.

acts 2:38 states being baptised in the Name of Jesus, not "names" of but the NAME of. father son and holyghost are titles, not names. thats why it says in the NAME of the father and of the son and the holyghost. whats the name, who died on that cross, JESUS!

first of all i'm a preacher of the gospel and i know what im talking about.You need to do your research and realize the early church fathers supported the trinity read about the nicene creed of 325 AD in the encyclopedia.Lot's of well known christians churches support the trinity and well known preachers.do your research the oneness movement got it's start in the early 1900's when pentecostals disagreed in doctrine so some left the trinity faith and develop oneness doctrine which is a heresy.
