To be honest, I don't ever see a scenario in which I would max q or w over e, EVER. E is a point and click main dmg ability and Q can be dodged which leaves E a lot weaker if not maxed, idk, just my opinion

Honestly, this is the scenario. It's hard to shove a wave against ori who can just Q the voidlings, and you will never get an E onto her without taking a ton of damage. The Q max gives you reliable poke damage as well as softening minions for your e to finish. Yes E max is usually the play, but Q max is sometimes nice against the champs that free clear voidlings or just spam a lot of abilities and you need the silence to get an E started on the wave

It is weaker since its not a point click. But its stronger vs champs who can free clear voidlings since you wont need to rely on them to push. Lost chapter + 3 points in Q clears all casters for example

Speaking of not losing mana, Brand is by far the worst offender in this regard. He’s my least favorite mage matchup. EDIT: And WTF was Kindred doing around 4:15? How is she in Diamond and I’m hovering around silver/bronze?!

I just watched a 30 min lose game. Why didnt you use abilities then pop ult. Your abilities would be up for a 2nd dose of hell after your ult. This happened more than once!
