this is really well done! I think I cried even more than I did watching the original 2011 movie!

Really enjoy different interpretations of this scene and the way you delivered your lines as Rochester were exceptional throughout the scene, actress playing Jane grew on me more towards the end but I enjoyed it very much how you both synchronized . Well done!

Well that's even more impressive! :) I wish I could see you both on stage. Greetings from snowy Poland :)

We were in a full theatrical run in Stratford upon Avon. We filmed this scene as a momento because we enjoyed it so much, and to add to our showreels.

Great acting from you both, I've seen just about every version of Jane Eyre as I am an avid fan and I think this ranks highly. Well done!

You’ve done a fantastic job here! It’s supposed to be a stormy night and it’s not entirely true to the book and all that, and I agree with other comments about the sloppy costume but the acting is superb 👌

Both of you are great! Your friend's part was probably more challenging, though. I wish you had done more scenes together :)

Ah, I wish you two had also filmed the pleading scene after the wedding was ruined, and the reuniting scene at the end.

Wow, thanks czekoladaimasio. Needs someone who's better at colour correction than me, but Mollie is amazing as Jane I think. :-)

Muy buen capitulo. ¿De qué año es ésta película?, ¿Cómo se llaman los actores? Muchas gracias por compartirla. Bendiciones.

No es una película, solo una escena. Los actores estaban en una versión teatral. Sus nombres son Ben Manning y Mollie Fyfe-Taylor.

Lovely , very nice acting. I like the chemistry between the two actors and think they did a nice job. It is difficult to recite period lines in such a natural way, effortlessly, or at least I think it is ! I like that little move at 2:33, subtle, yet conveys Mr. R's longing for Jane (and I don't just mean physical either) and desire to reveal his feelings yet, uncertain will they be reciprocated ? Also I'll add maybe uncertain to how will the situation turn out, though there is no doubt as towards his feelings for Jane. Very good body language and expressions. Now, I have just two issues with the video, First one is the background, or should I say instead the "foreground" music. I found the music both distracting and detracting from the piece. The scene is emotional and dramatic enough, that if anything the music should be subtly added right towards the end of this scene. OK, second issue is just with Mr. Rochester's costume, which doesn't go with his station. Granted, I realize that there are budget constraints, and in the theater it may look different upon the stage etc., but I feel like setting up a fund to even just buy him a better coat let alone vest etc. Jane's costume was ok, not bad, since she is a Quaker , and a lowly position, so she isn't going to be ah, "dressed to the nines" anyway.

What a wonderful job you've both done here. I burst into tears! But I have to say, the wardrobe person should be shot. That coat fits like a sleeping bag. A wealthy man like Mr. Rochester could afford a tailor!

Mr Rochester should have spoken before "You have placed the necessity to leave before me sir." And Jane Eyre should really have asked if he was sincere etc just after she asked to read his countenance. Otherwise, well done. Quite an enjoyable little piece. Nice interpretation. But where's the rest? Surely you could get money from advertising on youtube if you do the main parts, the first conversation, second conversation etc. And can you, Mr Manning, ride a horse?

¿DÓNDE ESTÁN TIMOTHY DALTON Y ZELAH CLARKE ? ESTA VERSIÓN DA PENA. PIDO DISCULPAS A LAS PERSONAS QUE LES GUSTE ESTA VERSIÓN. PERO DÓNDE ESTE TIMOTHY DALTON Y ZELAH CLARKE. QUE SE QUITEN LOS DEMÁS. ES UNA OPINIÓN MUY PERSONAL MÍA.
