There are hundreds and hundreds of empty parking spots on the side streets right next to 29th. This will have literally no impact to businesses.

And no longer going to Rise and Shine. One off Garrison is great. Bummer.

Please don't fight this so hard you lose the business that bikes and safe pedestrians would give you once the area is more commutable

Wouldn't need so much parking if we had decent rail access... oh well, must be impossible to solve!

Grab and go on the bike. What’s the big deal?

Feeling safe and being safe are not the same thing. The problem is simple, cyclists are competing with the phones of drivers for their attention. Stronger penalties for bad driving is the solution.

Ubiquitous enforcement with points taken off the license for _every_ violation (rather than fines) would eliminate most bad drivers even if they tried their best; some people just aren't qualified to drive in public spaces, no matter their "need" to do so. 🤷

Who brings more business to your city? The businesses or hobby cyclists? The answer should be easy to figure out.

Those businesses can accommodate more cyclists than drivers.

@@prophetzarquon1922 How so? Seats are seats. They seat the same amount of people no matter what vehicle they use to get there. If a buildings occupancy is 100, then it seats 100 cyclists the same as 100 drivers or 100 pedestrians who walked there.
