For those not from Maryland those wrecks are part of of the "Ghost Fleet" of Mallows Bay. About 100 ships built for WWI but became obsolete and worthless since they were wooden hauled and steamships. So after the war the ended up just being left in the river to decay over the years. Now they are a great source of habitat for wildlife.

Hey Brendon, just a heads up if you plan to release bass never hold them by their jaw at any angle other than vertically. It can break their jaw and lead to them starving since they can’t eat. If you hold horizontally always make sure to support their body with an off hand! Great looking fish and congrats on the proposal!

Honestly nothing to worry about with general garbage, metals, plastics, food scraps, etc. It's the chemicals that do the most damage to the water. The agricultural industry, mining industry, automotive industry, even firefighting chemicals all end up in our water. All the clorox disinfectants, the bleach, brake fluid, massive amounts of non organic fertilizers. It's ruining the water at a RAPID rate. In Delaware you aren't recommended to eat fish from certain waters more than once a year. The most is around 12 times a year. Our fish are toxic now.

I went and stayed at a fishing lake for a week and did about 30 hours of fishing. Didn’t catch one thing.(besides bluegill) My guy goes fishing for a few hours and catch’s tons of fish
