Propulse adjustable pitch prop for 40/50/60 outboards

Testing a Propulse adjustable pitch prop for 40 through 60hp outboards with a 13 spline propeller shaft. I had the motor raised a little bit to high to get the best performance out of it.
They ajust in pitch from 12 to 16p. I reckon there well worth the money for the performance they give. They can handle a fair bit of engine height before they let go. And they come in handy for when an extra mate or 2 jumps in for a fish as well, you can just drop the pitch back a bit rather than having to have an extra prop. It would take less than 10 minutes to change the pitch

The boat is a 4.25 edge tracker slim line with a 05 mercury 60hp 2 stroke

Do permatrims slow yer top speed down at all?

Nah mate as long as you have your motor high enough so the permatrim is out of the water when your on plane. I reckon they would knock a bit of speed off though if your motor is mounted low and it’s under the surface of the water
