They used to have a cool bookstore on the eastside - not sure if it still exists - i haven't been out there in a decade or so.

ive been living in airdrie ab my whole life and i play hockey there to it is very great living here!

I believe 10 years ago the price difference between Calgary and airdrie was substantially larger, something like a 500k home in Calgary would run you around 350 to 400k in airdrie, however now they are almost the same which sucks because why would you go there is its the same price.

I Live In Airdrie its A Great City i also see the Mayor here in Airdrie There will be a new Hospital will be built in the North. I find it busy the Sky is Busy from Airplanes going to the Airport or living the Airport and Freight Trains going though Airdrie

I believe Airdrie could of been a small town if Calgary was not around like around probably around 4,000 to 6,000 people

This video is very outdated already folks. There is a brand new exit here in Airdrie now and the traffic is extremely relieved. So forget all he said about the traffic getting off the Airdrie ramp. The new ramp finally opened a few months ago.

Note: If you work at Calgary airport it's a great place to live and commute to. He mentions this. And yes it's flat but you can ride your bikes with your kids on the safer back streets, ice skate all over the place, we have the beautiful Christmas Lights at Nose Creek Park and Fireworks on July 1st from a large park, movie nights on the grass, some areas have CANALS you can live on, and much more. Fantastic award winning upscale restaurants all over the place and lots more stores than we ever had in 4 different homes I lived in in Calgary. No night life is true. GREAT for families. It's still relatively safe here compared to many areas of Calgary. Airdrie NEEDS A HOSPITAL. That's the big drawback. The Urgent Care facility in Airdrie can only help so much. And watch your P's and Q's in Airdrie. Police have a field day giving out tickets. Don't look at your phone and drive or speed at ALL. They will find you and hunt you down. Lol...

The high population increase in the Calgary area is going to make the region as difficult as New York City and Los Angeles, especially regarding automobile traffic. Forcthe immediate future I'm going to stick with Uber. And definitely NOT move to Airdrie!
