Live in NYC now but lived in Baldwin Woods when we bought through a lottery in 78. The Woods is a great community like nothing else and a great place to do an update or possibly a rebuild. Lots sizes a large and a contemporary redo would fit right in.

Not the most diverse place but people are over all pretty nice. My first job was in Foothill Ranch back when there were no Toll Road so I drove through Lake Forest to get to work daily.

Pros and cons, Cons- Rush hour traffic, freeway traffic, housing prices. Pros-good paying jobs, good neighborhoods (I lived in Montbury), low crime, shopping, recreation, restaurants, top hospitals/doctors, weather, lots of good churches, about 10 miles to Laguna Beach, I lived there for nearly 20 years and wish I still did. Elevations run from nearly sea level to over 1,200' Oh, and the best donuts around at the KD Donuts in the Ralph's shopping center on Portola. I ask family who still live in the area to bring some of their donuts when they visit Utah.

Having a pool in the backyard would be perfect for people who have no kids.

Lake Forest plagiarized its name from Lake Forest, Illinois.

Wow, that is stretching it. How many US cities have the same name? There's several Orange Counties too.

@@greatpixight?! So, I guess state of Georgia “plagiarized” it’s name from Georgia in the Soviet Union or vice-versa. 😂🙄🤦🏽♂️
