Hi Athulya, how is the job market in Perth? I'm thinking to come and work and stay there. So would like to know how to go about renting and staying as a single person.

I can't agree more Athulya! Absolutely echo your thoughts, though we(me and my wife) are here only for 4 months. We are still struggling to make new friends or know more people here.

Hi Sanket, It takes time but eventually you’ll be there! I guess I’m still making friends as well, even though it’s been a year for me 😛

Hi Athulya! I’ve been following you on KZbin for sometime. Love your videos. Need some brutally honest advice from you: I’m an international student from India doing my Master’s (in STEM) at a more-or-less reputed Uni on the East Coast but I’m not really liking the hustle and bustle and too much money-centric mindset of the East Coast plus the cost of living is sky high as you might know (although I expect the prices of grocery, daily needs products and accommodation to be almost the same in Perth, too). I have been thinking of transferring to a uni in WA. Besides Perth being somewhat cheaper, the time difference between Perth and home would also come down and that just feels like such a sweet bonus. While I know I’ll probably travel home just as many times from Perth as I would from the East Coast, Perth being geographically closer to Asia, appeals to me emotionally. So, should I move to Perth or am I just making up Perth to be some sort of a fairyland in my head. Sorry for rather long question. Take care, best wishes! ❤️

Hello, I guess I would say, all the cities have their own pros and cons, and a lot of it depends on the individual as well! Yes, Perth is closer to Asia, and the time difference is also lesser. Perth definitely has a laid back vibe, but depending on your course I would urge you to look which city is better for you in terms of opportunities and work. Because this is important at the start of your career, and eventually with experience and skills you can always move to any city you’d like. Also, it depends and differs from person to person, you’ll need to assess what’s better for you! Although I cannot really comment on what you need to do, I hope my response helps! Thanks

Not sure for a family of 5, a lot of it depends on your rent/mortgage and also your standard of living. You may watch this video to get a better idea -kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zni4aYt5oqqYn5Ysi=QaeqTCatPIFZAoEH

Hi Pradeep, I can’t really comment on whether it’s easy or hard, I believe you’ll need to take efforts from your side, and eventually it will pay off. All the best! Thanks

I am NZ citizen and might get job offer from Perth but concerned about property rental. What do you think about it?

Look towards Seville Grove etc, growing area with lots of public transport close to all the amenities

Hi Vaibhav, Property market right now is peaking, but depending on your budget, you can get great deals at lesser known areas!

Looking to stay near by Indian community. Budget can be upto 600/wk. would that be enough?

@@vaibhavjain1in Yup, not in the CBD area, but in a lot of suburbs you should be able to get a decent 2bhk flat or 3bhk unit houses for that price (may vary a bit from place to place).
