Here I come! New Mexican here, tired of the grumpy ppl and all the drugs in NM I want to be able to have friends that like outdoor activities without getting high The snow and cold wont be much of a problem since I live at 7500ft altitude. I dont really care about nightlife. I want peace

Dishonorable mention: The nightlife kinda sucks compared to places like Salt Lake and Vegas. Downtown Provo only has one dive bar, as of this post.

That's good to know Tai, thanks for mentioning that!

Having lived in Provo for more than 45 years, I can say that living in Provo depends on the attitude people choose toward change. The city is becoming more densely populated and infrastructure is changing with people who may or may not share the values of most in the area. Keeping a positive attitude about the things you like is key.

That is a great perspective! Thanks so much for taking the time to share that.

@@livinginslc Just trying to put the decision to live anywhere in perspective. The things people choose to have a good or bad attitude about will determine their behavior about where they live regardless of where they live now. People have a tendency to experience burnout where they live in much the same way they would where they work. From places outside of Utah, Provo certainly offers a different view on life. Of course, for those living in Provo, living outside of Utah would certainly do the same.
