I went at a pretty bad time. Mid march, lots of snow, weird vibes and uptight cops. Maybe if I come back I'll like it more. I've heard so much good stuff about Utah

Yeah that's a tough time of year. I'd recommend February if you want to feel the winters, or April/May for spring time

If you can afford to live here that's great. Hopefully you really love the outdoors and/or are very active in your church. A really big cultural vacuum here otherwise. Love this very nuanced video. Great job! I was disappointed when it was over to be honest.

I am planning to move to Utah. My office will be around Milrock Drive Holladay. I was wondering how much does it snow there and from there to SLC downtown ? I am coming from Denver.

It will be similar to Denver to be honest. The cities are very similar in that regard. Downtown SLC and holladay will get roughly the same amount of snow for most storms.

Yes absolutely. Lots of them out there. Prices will vary widely though depending on the area.

Look into Logan. It's gorgeous and way more chill and affordable than Park City.

Dying how? You mean like they say it's dying every 7-8 years and then we have 2-3 years of surplus moisture? Maybe you've never been to Dead Horse Point and seen what traditionally happens to lakes in a desert. How do you think the Salt Lake exists other than through the help of snow season? With that being said it's a pretty nasty lake compared to a lot of other lakes in Utah.

Yes, we do have some homeless people, mostly focused in the downtown SLC area.

Unfortunately the cons far outweigh the pros in my opinion. I’ve lived here my whole life and it’s going downhill fast! Every year it gets more crowded, less water, too much traffic, housing is way too expensive, the houses are right on top of each other, winter is too long and the air is awful! Summer is too hot and often the air is awful. I want to get out asap!

@@SuperFatcat8 it all depends on what you consider a “benefit” salt lake isn’t the worst nor the best and once spring rolls around after 8 months of winter it is a lovely place for a few months. 😆
