Great Video. Can you please do some videos of living in both Pigeon Forge or Gatlin Burg Tennessee? Unfortunately, I could not find any videos online -- yet about what it's like to live in these areas: I want to hear from someone who lives in each are: Cost of Living: Employment: Culture: Way of Life: People: Weather: Things to do: Events: and ect. If you have any channels you would recommend please send them to me as I'm looking to move to one of these areas, but currently it appears both areas mainly rely on tourism.

Very pertinent & Informative, With High energy! Like the many Pluses of Sevierville, yet Traffic congestion is Very Much wanted as Minimal. Would like to be 30 minutes or Less to a LeveL 1 or 2 hospital & Costco-Sam's Club/Walmart or Equivalent. Also REALLY Appreciate the outdoors, Lake/River Life - yet Not over crowded! What about Dandridge; Bluff City; Power; Johnson City; Bristol; Jonesboro; & Butler 🤔😎

Also, is flooding a problem in Sevierville?
@christopherwhiddon20332 жыл бұрын
It depends on location. It would seem a no brainer but floods can come as an unpleasant surprise. A tiny little brook can become a swollen torrent in a matter of hours. If you choose to.live close to water be sure your property is high and dry.

We moved here from Florida 5 years ago. We are just outside of Pigeon Forge in Sevier County. I broke my own rule and bought an old home. Bad decision! We are surrounded by rental cabins and it can get crazy. Also, the property is low and nextbto a creek so we've had 4 floods. Our yard stays soggy all the time. I can go on and on. We want to sell it and get a nicer piece of property and buy a manufactured home to put on it.

what are rent prices?
@BenBarredo3 жыл бұрын
Well, that depends on what you're renting. An apartment? A house? Location? I will tell you that rent has gone up a lot in this market. As home prices rise and interest rates slowly grow, rent usually outpaces it by magnitudes.

What did you think of the pros and cons list? Do you live in the area? Do you have your own? Comment below.

What is the current population of Sevierville? I saw online it was over 18,000. That was less than I expected. Last time I was there was in 1986 and I graduated from SCHS in 1982.

Ummm, when did you live here because half of this is soooooooo wrong! So, you can buy liquor by the drink in both Sevierville and Pigeon Forge and have been able to for many, many years! Also, not a heavy police presence unless you’re in Gatlinburg. In fact, I can go several days in a row without ever seeing an officer. Also, there is no slow time anymore. Traffic is year round and back roads don’t mean crap anymore. The road I live on is a “back road” and maybe one out of every ten cars is a local, thank you GPS! Sincerely, a native who has lived here her entire life and who’s family has been here over two centuries!

I was thinking to move because I thought it was a more white place to live. Hahah. It looks like I was wrong. 🤣
