You can steal all the shit you want from Safeway... I had a buddy there in my 20s. We had a shithole of young people smoking hookahs and we would have fun. I love the fact that it's not a complete shithole. I smashed my Ford. The girl cried a river about her Dented Daddys $$$ priest. I told her get vaccine and sent her ms13 music. Told her to call a Mexican to fix her Prius. Aaron do you know if you can jump off the bridge over the Willamette between OC and West Linn. Hopefully the Clackamas County sheriff can Swoop us outta the river lol. High Rocks is nearby too in Gladstone/Happy Rock.

We are Californians looking to move to the PNW and are exploring this area. Partial to Tanner Basin and Barrington Heights. Do not want to live in kid central like the Savannah Oaks area. We are in our 50s/60s and want an opulent feel of an upscale retirement community with SOME families and separately do not want to pay the Lake Oswego prices especially with the lawsuit going on with that Lake. We're in the process of selling our home and plan to sit for bit to see if prices continue to decline then strike. Also exploring Vancouver , WA to take advantage of no state income tax and lower property taxes compared to Oregon which are outrageous, even factoring in no sales tax. Question: Any other areas in West Linn we should consider for home price points up to 999,000 and other must haves outlined above? Thank you.

Hi Kelly! You might also look at Rosemont Crossing in West Linn. It’s has newish construction (2012) in that neighborhood. Lots of recently sold under 1mil. Shoot me an email or give me a call and I’d be happy to help with more details. Thanks!

That's true, some of the homes in the more hilly areas and new builds have limited backyards. There are lots of areas of West Linn with larger yards but those homes tend to be older. PLUS everyone rides there bikes on the sidewalks, you get all that prime peddle space!

@@movingtoportlandoregon Yes, not much land when it's so mountainous. My daughter lives in Beaverton and I would love to retire in Oregon (live in WI) so I can be near my grandchildren. It's just so expensive to buy a home.

I live in West Linn but there is no diversity here! The schools have high scores and property taxes are super high. Every year the property taxes raises and the city of West Linn is not prepared to handle any type of weather emergency. As we speak we have not been able to leave my home because the city won't plow the roads. You have young teenage kids walking in Safeway and stealing and walking right back out. Don't be fooled by what you see folks here have issues just like every other city.
