Pros and Cons of Public School (Advantages and Disadvantages of School)

My 2 children (pre-k and 2nd grade) that I homeschool. Homeschooling was a choice due to their trauma they went through with the divorce their dad and I went through. They are seeing a psychologist and not too fond of being left alone like at children's church or play dates. But I have sooooo many parents (including my own mother) telling me they still need to be in school to get them social skills and to know there's a world beyond me and them. I just don't feel they're ready but others think they are manipulating. It's a true struggle and I'm not sure what to decide. I hope that made sense 😬

I am so sorry for the struggles you and your children are having. However, your children are still quite young and they just don’t feel the security all kids need to thrive in learning. I believe you are doing what is best for them to start trusting. Homeschooling your kids will help all of you heal. Then, you can work on social skills. Friends and learning to be a friend is easy for children when they feel safe and secure. You’ve got this! 😊🌼
