@@amitytt it was toxic af. Imagine having to stand up for your teammate two weeks into the job so that the manager doesn't act like an asshole towards them, even when it wasn't their fault? Then they'll work you to the bone. Got calls at 4 am. Then had to log in again at 8am. Then worked till 9pm. Dropped my resignation the next day. Then manager calls and screams at me for trying to resign. Saying some terrible things. Suggested we can automate a lot of things. Things ten people have to manually do. Got shot down immediately. Well, I now work for a startup and it's fun. Long hours but ima say worth. I'm learning a lot.

It's user perspective view , a person wants to build his expertise in recommendations system with Hotstar for 10y definitely more valuable than a guy who have multi domain experience if both apply for Netflix, Amazon prime but same time if same person wants to join some financial institutions will given less value as compared to multi domain professional. Also having knowledge of multiple domains is easy but ideally you can't be expert at all, may be end with expertise in non. But if you are in one domain even you put less effort you will acquire vast knowledge. And obviously can become expert if worked properly. So considering is con is not justified it may mislead the Freshers.

Correction pls, first of all a fresher can't get a hike also a person with 6 months exp in the same domain is exactly not a fresher. This is a wrong definition.

@Supratik Sarkar If someone being a fresher gets a better offer in terms of money than others in the current market that's not a hike. Hike takes place when your first evaluation is done or someone changes organization. That means definitely he is experienced even if that is 6 months or 3 months.So he doesn't fall in the category of freshers. That's the way institutes fool people.

@@nani198702 to learn I use various free and paid resources like KZbin channels of Krish, Stat Quest, 3Blue1Brown, Udemy/Coursera courses etc. For real life projects use datasets from Kaggle. For learning end to end implementation *free*, you have to search a ton, this channel is obviously good. Even some famous paid courses are there for free downloads from Torrents (search using Google or use Torrz app), which are obviously illegal.
