You guys seem like amazing parents! I think your children are very fortunate to have you as parents!

Best restaurant types are those that are pub/barn conversions where they have kid play areas/gardens so you can sit outside or in but in comfort

Hi Blair & Mac You are amazing parents and the children are jewels. I’m delighted that you are sensitive to the needs of each child and they get your undivided attention at some time. It’s important that you keep your chemistry between the two of you healthy as well…(6 babies indication of no neglect 😃) Praying God’s grace and blessings as you journey through this season of your lives. I appreciate the content you share❤❤🙏🏾

I’ve stopped at 4, 2 of each. Also have grandmother who was an identical twin. It didn’t come down to us. Down sides. Cost. Lack of sleep, ended up working overseas, children were born in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and England. University fees snd cost of halls were a lot. Sacrificing time with the children helped pay them However my wife got used to living in different countries and climates. She also had to manage without me around as I might have travelling. Upsides. 4 great children and now grandchildren. Watching them grow and mature in to young adults we could be very proud of.i wouldn’t change it for the world.

You're both perfectly correct. There are pluses and minuses of having a big family. My late wife and I had/have six children too, four adopted. My daughter (🇦🇺) has six incl twins & triplets, my oldest son (🇨🇦) has five, incl triplets and one adopted, and my second son (🇰🇪) has four, incl twins. The 15 boys get on famously, and range from 8 to 14. Some are mixed white and First Nations or fully First Nations 🇨🇦, some are white and Asian 🇦🇺, and four are mixed Luhya and Rendille 🇰🇪. When they meet, for three weeks each year, they play rugby, surf, ride, play football, and hike & camp together. Over the Internet, they share homework project ideas, play on-line games, and tease each other unmercifully. As an only child myself, the pluses of my family far outweigh any times of parental angst. With five boys, a girl, and 15 grandsons, of course there have been pressures. Insisting on a daily shared dinner, no phones at the table, a rota of chores, and plenty of extra-curricular activities, has helped. Between them the grandkids play lots of sports, each plays at least one instrument, they have pets (inc five horses), and walk or take the train or public transport, or cycle to school and other commitments. Two of my boys were cathedral choristers, as are four of my grandsons. Between them, they speak two American indigenous, one Asian, five African, and six European languages. These are among the reasons the boys have a successful family online homework club. God has blessed us, and each of us - gramps, six children, four in-law children, and 15 boys thank Him daily and worship weekly at our local Anglican churches, using the talents with which He has blessed us. As, my American cousins, He has so obviously blessed you. (Perhaps six is enough, though 🙄). ❤

Wow, Blair! You look fantastic with a shorn head! Makes your cute dimples stand out even more! Your children have the tooth fairy working overtime, I see. One of the joys of being single is that is much less expensive - so enjoy birthday season 😊🎂

Yes, I'm 44 years young and I'm child less and child free, and that's all good for me 😃having children is a choice that you make, if you want them or not.

For me, with 5 children, the downside is not being able to give as much individual care and attention to one of them. Say, the 4 yo wants to cuddle and read a book, the 8 yo wants to show what she learnt on the guitar at school, the 12 yo wants to watch a Marvel movie together, the twins have pooped their diapers and want milk. Can't do all of those at the same time.

It's common for British children to wesr school uniform. I used to wash and tumble the kids' uniforms each evening - all done in a couple of hours, and put them on the back of each child's kitchen chair with fresh socks and underwear ready for the next day. Cuts down a little on the laundry build-up. Also, google 'sock-clips' - these are invaluable for those times when you don't want to wear mismatched socks! Each person could have their own colour to make organisation easier. Staggered bedtimes make one-to-one time easier, although the evenings are long for the parents - but that's what we signed up for!

I would love to know how Blair manages hers and Blaklez hair? And glass skin routine if she has one. As in what products they use has it changed since you’ve moved to the UK as there are so much more hair products for Afro American hair in America than there is in the UK. Although I guess you can order stuff online now and if you live near a big city, you can always find hair supply stores

I may be wide of the mark here but I felt like you may be talking about theme parks when you said about the age spread being tough. If you were check out Paultons Park, Drayton Manor and Legoland. They all have height requirements that will let kids aged about 6 or 7 on all the rides. Most parks also operate parent swaps so that parents with the babies can take turns to ride without requeuing.
@MacandBlair9 ай бұрын
We haven't been to any theme parks, just county shows. This is probably why we run into so many rides that Matthew couldn't ride. He was also much younger and smaller when we first got to the UK.

0:55 Since you are originally from the US but now living in the UK, I think I should warn you that holding up two fingers like that is a very rude gesture in the UK. It's the UK equivalent of holding up one finger at someone. If you want to hold up two fingers to count to two, hold up your fingers with your palm facing AWAY from you, not towards you. Then you won't be making a rude offensive gesture.
@eanjamesmogg94889 ай бұрын
Just wondering about your Transport ordeals, do you have one people carrier or minivan for those in the US or multiple cars and what jobs do you do to look after a big family and how do you manage a big family financially? Do you get paid enough in your respective jobs I mean! lol ???

12/13! You must have some family thoughts on moving up to UK secondary school now.
@RollerbazAndCoasterDad9 ай бұрын
The downside of only having one is that it's often less hassle to do things like put the clothes away for them than teach them. So you do it for a few years too long.

Big families are great there where seven in our family nine including our parents , ìt was a lot of fun always had someone to play with ,I remember myy mother always washing clothes, my mother used to hang the wahing on a line outside when it was a dry day ,I dont think people do that in the states not sure , you could always do that in the summer , I would defo get another washer , bye for now take care 🥰🥰
Blair, your new hairdo shows your beautiful features to advantage. It’s quite funny that the shorter yours is the longer Mac’s gets!! You really are wonderful parents, your children are such a credit to you.
