Margaritaville is kind of Sun City 25 years ago. I live in SSCH. Not sure size is a big deal, kind of becoming 3 different communities but you can choose among many amenity centers that suit you. You can also drive a golf cart to the grocery store, liquor store, several restaurants, pools and golf courses. Margaritaville will eventually morph into a similar situation. It will never be closer to the beach, LOL. I moved to the area 10 years ago and taxes in Jasper country were double with half the services. That has changed a lot since. Certainly not a bad place to live.

We live here in phase 3 and love some of living here but something’s are not so great! This person talks about the wetlands but just a month ago some of the wetlands areas are now being built on because the SC changed the laws on where to build. Also the community will now have 5,000 to 7,000 homes ! The amenities are now too small for this growing community and on NYE they told people that registered for the event that they could not come in because they were at capacity! Our piece of paradise is starting to not be so.

Where can I get information on getting a 30 day rental?

Are there any long or short term rentals available within the Latitude development? Are they permitted by the by-laws? How can I find out what's available?

There are long term rentals no VRBO or AirBnb. There is not one place that has all of them and they can hard to find. You may want to try some local property rental companies such as Miller Long Term or Coastal Long Term.
