I love your list! Could not be more accurate. Specifically people not respecting your boundaries. Ive had my head shaved for about 5 years now. That is the one thing that bothers me: people touching my head. I was taking care of a patient and their family member came up behind me and starting touching my head. Talk about uncomfortable!!! You completely ROCK this though. Love it!!!!

Love it so much, very inspirational. I shaved mine cos I wanted to grow out my grey hair and didn't want the two toned look, and its so great! My personal style has definitely evolved, I find wearing green can look a bit bootcamp but I am really enjoying the stretch in tweaking my look. Most of all, I love that when I look in the mirror all I see is the true me. No fringe getting in the way, its so, so, so freeing and so empowering. But yes the cold head! I've had to hunt around for winter hats as I shaved it right as Sydney went into a pre-winter chill!! I also love people's reaction to it, I love talking about it. Its a great opportunity to raise awareness of beauty norms and talk about societies view on what being feminine is and isn't. Thanks for your video 💕💕💕💕

Hi ! before you let it grow out let me suggest a few more things you can try, just for the fun of new experiences. Swimming is just so convenient. There's the sound of water lapping on your skull as you swim, the ability to take your head out of the water without having to manage your hair, and it dries without needing a towel. The wind is no annoyance, no hassle keeping it out of your eyes, not having to brush it after you get inside, its cool in summer and cold in winter but that's what a hat is for! And the sound of wind blowing on your skull is different - your ears make a different sound as you turn into and out of wind. Walk under an air-conditioning outlet or a warm roof light and feel the cool air and heat on your scalp. Even a hot stove or the oven gives off enough heat to be noticeable. At the length you now have your clothes stick to your head like velcro. And for the ultimate experience wet shave it. Keep it shaved and then after six to eight weeks the sensitivity to cold goes away and, you can tell how many fingers are touching your head - get your friends to test you. The stares and questions are also very easy to handle and you meet some more wonderful people. Enjoy.

I am a red head so it already burns and I already know I have a BIG dip in my head from a fire extinguisher falling on my head at Girl Scout Camp. I shaved mine (to a 2) a year and a half ago. It was Winter. Somebody asked how intended to keep my head warm when I went outside. My response was, "I'll wear a hat." Part of me really wants to shave again, but, part of me wants to keep my hair. What to do?????
