This is such helpful insight, thank you so much. I just went from having super long curly hair, to a short pixie. That was so liberating in itself that now I'm seriously considering buzzing it. Everyone has always said "I love your curls" which is so nice, but also, I relate to wanting my hair to be disconnected from my identity. Plus, maintaining coarse, curly hair is time and energy that I'd rather spend elsewhere. I'm inspired to go for it now! By the way, I totally say go for it with the buzz. Your eyes light up when you talk about it. :) Your hair now also looks fantastic so if it feels good, that's great, too.

When I watched your buzz cut video I was shocked how stunning you looked! I don't like buzz cut on women in general but you have the perfect face and head shape for it and you looked strikingly beautiful. I wish I could do it but I don't have the proper face for it. Buzz it again!

I've never thought much about buzzing my hair and I probably wouldn't at my age. As for you, I think you should do whatever you feel like doing with your hair at this time. You've got a beautiful face with or without hair!

I've been busy lately and was not able to watch this video until now. I'm so glad you made it. I wanted to ask but I thought it would be weird! I have a half buzz cut if that makes sense. Buzz on the side but about 6-in on the top. I love it and should have done it years ago!

No, my husband has always been really open to me doing whatever I want with my hair (and in life in general). I think buzz cuts are beautiful, but I understand that it's not the "norm" and it's not for everyone. It's your hair, so do what will make you happy.
