Love the solitaire style. The pros far outweigh the cons IMO Never go out of style, & can always be jazzed up with a funky band, or whatever you personally fancy!

I prefer one stone. I’ve seen too many settings, even very expensive settings with multiple stones around the center diamond, have stones fall out. Small stones have small prongs or are channel set or pave. They are the weakest link and can fall out. One nice stone with a good strong mounting the way to go.
