PROS & CONS review of the D’Addario Dual-Lock Strap Lock

After my $20 Dunlop locking bearing strap locks failed 3 times at a gig I bought these. LOVE THEM!!!!! He's correct about the button get a bigger one.

I just bought these for $5 instead of a new lockable guitar strap. Works great!

Good review! I bought 8 sets of these for $2.50 ea on Amazon. They fit on most of my guitars and seem to work well. On one guitar, it seemed if I pulled hard enough, I could make the strap lock pop off, but it's not likely there's ever going to be that much force on it. Note to buyers: They did not work on my acoustic and my dobro, each of which has an integrated end-pin jack for the installed pick-ups. The jack housing is too thick to accommodate these. Also, surprisingly, they did not fit on my Telecaster due to the thickness of the strap. There was not enough room on the strap button to get the dual-locks on with the strap. Not sure yet how I might be able to get around that. Anyway, I'm happy.
