That's all very interesting as I didn't know they were that big. Buy, why, oh why, does their customer service suck so bad. I use them and have gotten a hand full of bookings, but if I have a problem, oh man, they are the worst. You get agents that speak fairly poor english, their telephone connects are weak and scratchy, you spend many many minutes waiting for them to answer anything. I would love to drop them, but the bookings they get me are decent. When I call Airbnb or VRBO, I get good, not great, service. Fluent English speakers, even if they're from another country. But helpful. At Booking? Just weird and I can't wait to get off the phone with them. Just sayin'. They're torture for hosts. And their web site? You have to use THEIR templated descriptions about your place. Ugh. Hate it!!!

I agree regarding the descriptions. Expedia descriptions are also done the same way. As far as their customer service is concerned, I don't have an answer. However, anytime I need something that doesn't require an immediate response I get fast & very helpful assistance via messaging them through the extranet.
