Prosecution in Karen Read murder case opposes motion to dismiss

Newly filed court documents from prosecutors slam Karen Read’s defense team, which claimed this week that they’ve heard from a number of jurors who said they had reached a verdict in two of the three charges, and so those charges should be dismissed.

How come the judge in the Alec Baldwin's case was fair enough to dismiss the case with prejudice, when the prosecution withheld evidence from the defense, but the prosecution will not listen to the jurors when they said all of them said not guilty to charge one and three. The judge did not even speak to the jury to find 2:38 2:38 out exactly what charge the jury was deadlocked on. I live in NM and we are not as high class as people from Mass. What is wrong with MA legal system?

The jury did not relay any misunderstandings to the court. They reported “Stark differences” and that any further deliberations would be futile based on their deep beliefs and convictions. Judge Bev did the right thing to declare a mistrial based on the foreman jurist report. The judge was exceptional and acted fairly within the laws of the court. After all this, ppl want to again sensationalize and dramatize actions done by the defence, after the fact and after obtaining alleged info hearsay illegally from jurists and convolute and try and drop charges…it’s just not gonna happen. The only way charges will drop against KR is in the hands of prosecutors. She’s going to get tried on all 3 counts again and hopefully this time we get justice served for O’Keefe family.

If a jury unanimously acquitted her of two charges, seems like double jeopardy to try her again on those charges. Her lawyers should have polled the jury and made that argument immediately !

But best believe this is the good part: *everyone that took the witness stand is now locked into a testimony* that can be used against them, if (Perjuried) themselves. Remember also the feds sent those two last witnesses that the defense used. Didn't send them for nothing....
